  Nothing beats 4th of July extravaganza in hermosa beach!!! This place was much more than we have expected!! It is so clean and comfortable. We used every bit and peace of it , to feel comfortable with our 3 bundles of joy. It's location is perfect. You are in the center of all action, yet still can enjoy a quite time in your unit. Except for some loud parties on 4th of July night, but it just remained me of my happy days :))) I didn't mind. The owner is the most pleasant and easy to deal. I wish I met her. She seems like a lovely lady. We hope to come back again and again. Thank you.

  Location, location, location! This property has it. Just steps away from the Strand and beach, and most everything in town, gave my teenagers the freedom to come and go. I liked the fact that my husband & I and each of the boys had their own bedroom and bathroom. Maryjo was a joy to work with. She was nice, friendly and accommodating. Her local assistant was the same....very helpful. We enjoyed staying at a place so close to everything. We did not rent a car for the first few days. Thanks Maryjo. We will be back!

  I greatly enjoyed this rental--it was perfect! 5 people slept comfortably, and we all enjoyed hanging out in the living room watching TV and chatting, and the kitchen/dishes worked great for Christmas dinner. The sunsets from the roof-top deck were amazing. This unit is in an ideal location--very close to the peir and the strand. We enjoyed walking to all the shops and restaurants, and a grocery store is about a 15 minute walk away. Thank you so much to Mary Jo and Kirk for working with us and providing a memorable experience!

  The property was clean and comfortable. When we arrived it was warmer than expected and the owners provided fans the next day as promised. Pictures of the rooms were good but they did leave out the three flights of stairs that are inside the property. Location was great for getting to the beach and the Strand. Parking would be a problem if we would have driven because it's first come first serve on the street. Would I recommend this property to a friend or relative? Probably not because of the stairs and lack of any view being this is a basement property.

  Owner response: I'm very sorry to hear that this vacationer thought the condo was misrepresented. I understand being disappointed about not having a view however, as I tell all renters, it is priced extremely low for it's location to the beach and would cost much more if it did have a view because it's location is AWESOME for all beach lovers! There are steps to get to the first bedroom and then another set to the main living space however they are not full flights. I didn't think to put pictures of the steps however I will try to include them in the future. I will also be moving the top unit onto VRBO this summer and that will allow for a parking spot for this lower unit. I enjoy answering any and all questions about our property because I really do hope that you enjoy your stay!

  I thought the condo was great!!! Maryjo was very helpful when i need anything. the beach was wonderful, ant the pier was beautiful. i grew up there and it was to go back to my old area. I would recomend this for anyone who enjoys the ocean and a good time!!!

  My teenage boys and I enjoyed staying in this property right by the beach and Hermosa Pier. We walked down the street to the beach each morning for swimming and surfing. There are tons of shops and restaurants (check out Zane's Happy Hour Appetizer menu) to choose from at the Pier. And the kitchen was very well equipped to be able to cook as well.

  Your rental unit was great for my teenage son and me. It was not our first choice, but worked out very well. So nice to have 2 bedrooms and 3 baths. The location, just a half a block from the beach and 2 blocks to pier, turned out to be perfect for us. In the morning, go to the beach, take a right on the strand and you have a quiet mile of beachfront for a run/walk. Afternoons you are steps from a wide, beautiful beach with volleyball players and surfers, as well as families. Evenings you are minutes from the pier, and Pier Street, with its many dining and entertainment options. Mary Jo was great in getting us set up, and all was as advertised when we arrived. Clean, efficient unit with everything we needed for our stay. The photos were accurate, and the only downside was no view of the beach due to the apartment building next door. The roof was nicely appointed though, and I was able to work up there while my son slept in, which was a great way to go. I would (and already have) recommended this property to others, and would stay again if we venture back to Hermosa Beach. At the risk of being repetitive, I loved the location, close to many local restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc... we fell in love with Hermosa Beach, not sure how anyone wouldn't. Thanks again Mary Jo, you were a pleasure to work with!
