We purchased the property back in 1999 with my father and brother. In 2001 we had finished our homes. Mine and my brothers homes are approximate approximately 4000 Sq Ft. with my fathers at around 2000 Sq Ft. located right on one of the Trout Ponds. (He fishes from his deck).
The Trout Creek Ranch is an incredible property with a stream (Trout Creek) running through the middle of the Valley thru two Trout Ponds. We have so enjoyed the property with nearby access to over 150 miles of trails through the National Forest. We are only 5 minutes from the town of Woodland Park and 25 minutes from Colorado Springs.
Keywords: The Ranch is located on 50 acres with Trout Creek running through the property and feeding two trout ponds. The ranch has beautiful views of Pikes Peak. There are many different species of wildlife living on and near the ranch, such as deer, elk, bear, fox, geese and ducks.
This Ranch has often been referred to as a little piece of heaven, a paradise and a romantic retreat. It is located 20 miles from Colorado Springs,18 miles from Cripple Creek , 83 miles from the the beautiful ski resort of Breckenridge and Denver is only an hour and a half away. There are wonderful hiking trails, fishing and over 150 miles of national forest trails through the nearby Pike National Forest (great atv and hiking trails).

Owner was friendly and very helpful the house was beautiful ...surroundings breath taking... wildlife was constant ....location couldn't have been better ....my family and I even friends plan on renting one of the three homes again soonRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Although we didn't catch a bunch of fish we definitely had a great time. Great place to just kick back on the porch and watch the wildlife while the grill is cooking some burgers and franks. Thanks again,Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Well maintained and clean property. Close to town yet in the middle of pretty, natural surroundings. The owner and their agent are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. The property is close to Woodland park and many other attractions. We would highly recommend the property to friends.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers.

Beautiful home with excellent accommodations. Setting with pond, including geese, was wonderful. Trout fishing was reasonably good. House was a little warn for sleeping.Recommended for: Families with young children.

The house was great! Very clean and enough space for our family of 6. We really liked the area--very quiet. Secluded, but not too far away from everything. I have four daughters who love to fish, so they had a great time catching trout from the deck. I had lots of questions prior to renting this property, and the owner always responded quickly with the information I needed. Overall, we had a great time.Owner response: It was a pleasure having the Family visit the Ranch. We are getting a new batch of 12 to 14 inch Trout in this week. I wished the girls had caught one of the really big ones. Three weeks ago quest caught a 26 inch and a 22 inch Trout. Wendell & Lili

Beautiful place to stay for a relaxing, quiet vacation. Close enough to town to easily access anything you need. Within 20-25 mins of Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak attractions, but away from the hassle of tourist traps. Great fishing pond, stocked with trout.
