  This is a wonderful place for a family vacation. The house is large and spacious with beautiful furnishings. Our family had a great time playing in the leaves and seeing the awesome view from the back porch. The surrounding area has great things to do for both kids and adults. We found some great places to eat - try the Kountry Kitchen right in Clayton, with a small town atmosphere(closed on Thursdays). Another thing that we really liked about the house is that it has everything one would need except for personal items and your food. We would definitely like to come back and bring some family and/or friends to enjoy your beautiful mountain home.

  Tom & Jan (Crawfordville, FL) The listing photos and property information were outstanding, however, no picture could do justice to the beautiful and colorful mountain view. The rear deck offered a spectacular view of the mountain range. The house was very tastefully furnished with all amenities. The house was clean and orderly. There is ample room on three floors including 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. If you get a chance be sure to dine at the Caffe REL located in Franklin, NC. There are many fine dining establishments and attractions within a short driving distance. We highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy a comfortable vacation in the mountains.

  We really enjoyed our stay at your beautiful mountain home. The view on the back porch is awesome. We loved having our morning coffee out on the porch and enjoying the view. That was where we had some of our most enjoyable visits with our children and grandchildren - making memories as my mom would say. One of the best things about this house besides the perfect location is that it is clean and completely furnished with everything you need. We had plenty of room and plenty of beds and baths(3). We would definitely want to return and bring our family again. Downtown Clayton is right at the bottom of the mountain. Also Dillard is about ten minutes away with the Dillard House for some great dining. Also traveling to Helen and Hiawassee takes less than an hour - lots of good shopping and great crafts from the area. Thanks so much for extending your lovely house to us. I would definitely recommend this to our friends and relatives.

  Convenient location, comfortably furnished. Enjoyed downtown Clayton, State Park and easy access to Lake Rabun and Lake Burton.

  My husband, myself and younger daughter just returned from a shared vacation with my older daughter, husband and our grandson. The Clayton Hilltop Home had everything we needed. It is a big, roomy house. Since there were only five of us and a baby, we did not need to use the downstairs living area which includes 2 bedrooms, a kitchnette, living area and bathroom. The house is a short drive from downtown Clayton and accessible to other area attractions. We enjoyed eating at the Dillard House and The Cup Board - yummy! Clayton is centrally located off Hwy 441 and a great location to make day trips from. We explored the area from the Highlands to Cashiers - hiking Whiteside Mountain (a moderate 2-mile hike) and playing in the water at Little Slide in Cashiers. A great way to cool off with two swimming holes and sliding area. On our return trip to Pensacola, FL we went to Mark of the Potter and then continued on to Helen, Ga. We enjoyed a "Camel Rider" sandwich at International Cafe at the foot of the bridge while watching the folks tubing on the creek.

  This was a great place to stay. Great view with plenty of privacy, yet only minutes to all the conveniences of town. The cabin was well supplied with everything we needed for our stay. Our only regret was that we didn't have more time to stay longer. We will look forward to staying here again.

  We had a very relaxing stress free week in the beautiful Georgia mountains. Downtown Clayton was only a short drive away and we found everything we needed there. They have excellent restaurants and shopping and we found everyone to be friendly and helpful. The home was so tastefully decorated and we felt very welcomed. The owner answered all our questions to our satisfaction. Too bad we didn't have our extended family with us to enjoy it.
