We are situated 3 miles from the village of Drumnadrochit which is on the west side of Loch Ness 14 miles south of the city of Inverness. The village has several hotels and pubs, restaurants, shops, Post Office and Bank and is home to 2 Loch Ness Monster Exhibitions. This spacious quality premier holiday lodge (STB graded 4 star) set high on the hillside above Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness offers very comfortable accommodation for a refuge of peace and tranquillity or a convenient base for touring, walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing, golfing or horse riding. No Smoking or Pets. The lodge is on an individual site and has patio doors and windows looking out over Loch Ness below. It sleeps 6 guests in 1 Twin and 2 Double Bedrooms, Bathroom, Shower-room with w.c., spacious lounge with TV etc, dining area and fully equipped kitchen including full cooker, washer/dryer, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.

Additional information about rental rates
Rental rates are quoted for full occupancy of 5/6 guests with a 10% reduction for 3/4 guests and a 20% reduction for 1/2 guests. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests with only exception being an infant for which a cot and / or high chair can be provided at no cost.

Information/Conditions All lodges are inspected annually by the Scottish Tourist Board (VisitScotland). Type A Three / Four Star Lodges Nos 1 & 2 are individually sited and have patio doors looking out over the surrounding countryside and glen towards the mountains beyond. They have Two Double Bedrooms with wash hand basins, One Twin bedroom with wash hand basin, one bathroom with toilet, wash hand basin and shower over full size bath, comfortable living area and dining area with fully fitted kitchen including oven, four ring hob, washing machine/dryer, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. No 1 also has teletext widescreen colour TV with Freeview, CD Hi-Fi with radio and cassette decks, Sky Freesat and a DVD HDD recorder with Freeview+ . No 2 also has teletext widescreen colour TV, CD Hi-Fi with radio and cassette decks, DVD player and VCR Type B Four Star Lodges Nos 4 & 5 are near the top of the hill and have patio doors looking out on loch views. They have Two double bedrooms, One Twin Bedroom with wash hand basin, one shower room with toilet and wash hand basin, one bathroom with toilet, wash hand basin and full size bath, comfortable living area with reclining suite, teletext widescreen colour TV, CD Hi-Fi with radio and cassette decks, HDD DVD player and VCR and dining area with new fully fitted kitchen including oven, four ring hob, washing machine/dryer, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, freezer and dishwasher Individually sited Premier Four Star Lodge No 3 is near the top of the hill and has patio doors looking out on loch views. It has two double bedrooms, One Twin Bedroom with wash hand basin, one shower room with toilet and wash hand basin, one bathroom with toilet, wash hand basin and full size bath, comfortable living area with leather recliner suite, Plasma 42” colour TV, HDD DVD player and VCR and dining area with new fully fitted kitchen including oven, four ring hob, washing machine/dryer, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. For guests whom we know are coming from abroad prices may be quoted are in UK Pounds Sterling (£) and Euros (€) per week per lodge. Please Note: Our British Pound and Euro prices are not based on current exchange rates. You are free to choose at the time of booking which of those prices you wish to pay. All heating, lighting and cooking is by electricity, for environmental purposes you only pay for what you use by way of coin operated £1 coin meter – to provide hot water and heating on arrival the first £5 is included. No pets are allowed and all lodges are No Smoking but guests may smoke outside the lodges provided that cigarette butts are not thoughtlessly discarded so as to eliminate litter and risk of fire. Whichever beds are required will be freshly made up for your arrival and all bed linen (fresh pillow cases, sheets and duvet covers) is supplied (except cots) together with towels (One Bath & One Hand Towel per person per stay –washer/dryer in each lodge plus outdoor drying facilities). Bookings are non transferable and the maximum number of guests per lodge must not exceed 6 or such lesser number as agreed and paid for or be any other than those named on the booking form. The first named guest who is to reside in the lodge and who takes responsibility for the let should sign the booking form. If all guests are to be away from the property for more than 24 hours during the let period the owners should be advised. All damages must be notified and paid for and the property left in a clean and tidy condition. Bookings are accepted for weekly, fortnightly or other periods (minimum 2 nights) usually from 4pm arrival day to 10am departure day unless otherwise agreed. Access to the lodges is by way of a tarred road which rises quite steeply for the last 400 metres and winter bookings are therefore accepted on the basis that vehicular access cannot be guaranteed to the lodges in times of snow/ice although you may be assured that every effort would be made to keep the road passable. To make a booking please initially contact us by email or telephone to confirm availability, then complete and return a form for each lodge together with credit card details or a cheque payable to ‘Drumnadrochit Lodges’ for a non-refundable deposit of £100 per lodge per week - this should be sent so as to arrive within 3 DAYS of booking. If a contract has been agreed in Euros payment can be made by bank transfer only. You should make whatever holiday insurance arrangements which you consider necessary to protect your interests since full payment of the balance will remain due if we are unable to re-let following cancellation. Your lodge booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received and a confirmation of booking issued by us. If for any reason we cannot accept your booking the deposit cheque will be returned uncashed. The balance of the accommodation is payable without reminder not later than four weeks prior to date of arrival or by 31st October for Xmas / New Year bookings. Non-payment of balance by due date renders bookings liable to cancellation. In the case of Short Breaks and late bookings or booking after 31st October for Xmas or New Year the full hire charge should be paid when submitting the booking form.
