  Our recent stay at the Brac Flower House was delightful. The place was clean and very spacious. The owner was extremely helpful with all our questions. You definitely need to hire a car and this was easily accomplished. The car rental company brought the car to the house and also picked it up at the end of our two weeks stay. We explored the whole island, the lighthouse, the museum and heritage house, etc. As we're a couple of seniors we didn't explore the caves!! We also weren't able to swim in the ocean at the house as the the ocean was too rough, but we did go to the public beach not far from the house which was beautiful. We did swim there. We enjoyed the food at the Alexander hotel the most - but we did try several different restaurants also. We had a completely relaxing vacation Thank you.

  We really enjoyed our stay at The Brac Flower House!!! We were hard pressed to stay awake most nights past 9:30 pm., after snorkelling, swimming and cave hiking during the day time. The master bedroom bed was so comfortable and the sound of the waves was very relaxing. We sat out most days under the palm trees on the recliners before we went for dinner, had a nice cool drink and just enjoyed the view! Because there are plenty of windows in this cottage, we were able to not have to put on the air conditioners. The ceiling and portable fans were more than enough to keep the cottage comfortable day and night. We tried most of the local restaurants and went back to the Brac Reef, as the food and staff were bother super! We contacted Jodie from the Marine shop and he took us out for a half day of fishing. We had a really good time and caught a bunch of Yellow tailed snappers, which the chef at the Brac Reef cooked up for us that evening. The fish were so tasty that the other diners were jealous. We discovered that we had a seven inch long iguana on the property that we saw each day, so we named him Ike. The locals on Cayman Brac were all very friendly and helpful. My husband ended up getting sea itch and after asking around were able to get the proper relief at the one grocery store. I would definitely recommend this island and to rent this property to anyone who wants a quiet and peaceful holiday.

  First time in Cayman Brac and would definately go back. No traffic, no traffic lites and the people were friendly. The brac flower house was a great find and was Better than the online photos. Great yard with ocean front to wonder on and with no lights around at nite, the stars were incredible. We used the kitchen and bbq quite a bit as well as dining at all the local establishments. Food was great everywhere and prices reasonable. We snorkled everyday somewhere on island but only once directly in front of house due to windy conditions. We took in pretty much everything the island had to offer from lighthouse to parrot watching to cave exploring etc. Great island !! I would recommend this property and I know we will be back in the future. Thanks Erin

  We spent 5 wonderful days at the beach house and couldn't have been happier with the condition, ammenities, location and ambience. So close to wonderfully clear waters with abundant sun, the house makes you want to go nowhere but stay and relax. The house is air conditioned, but we enjoyed the open air feeling with windows and doors open. With two ensuite beedrooms, the house is perfect for two families with plenty of extra sleeping accomodations in the main living room. The kitchen is well equiped which makes staying home and enjoying the beautiful evenings easy. Snorkeling right off the house is beautiful, but watch the current. There is a nice sandy beach just a few miles west (we were the only ones there when we went). There are numerous markets for all your needs, but things are a bit pricy dur to the exchange rate, and you will most likely want to rent a small car to get around to the many hiking and exploring oportunities such as trails and caves. There are also numerous oportunities to experience scuba diving and fishing. There are also two nice hotels with very good restaurants if you do wnat to go out for dinner or accomodate additional visitors. I short, we loved everything about CAyman Brac and the beach house. We will return!
