We had a group of 6 adults and 5 kids. The lodge had everything one could hope for in a rental. The kitchen was very well stocked with lots of serving dishes and cooking pans/pots. The downstairs living room has a new TV and Wii system that the kids loved (and allowed some separation). I think the house would very fun in the seasons when you can use all the outdoor spaces (decks galore). Listing is accurate, owner is very helpful and the home is clean/well cared for. Thanks for everything!

My husband & I stayed at this house with our 7 year old son & 5 year old daughter & another couple with their 10 year old daughter & 7 year old son. A great well maintained house! Very clean. The kids slept in the bunk bed room & there were 2 rooms for the adults. There were plenty of board games & a handful of DVD's to watch. It said on the listing there was a Wii, but we did not see one. Maybe we didn't look hard enough for it? Kitchen was upgraded, clean & had everything that we needed even a pancake griddle! It was about 10-15 minutes to the nearest ski area. The only negative was that the first floor living room did not have a television or a working fire place. A television at least would have been nice. We would have made the kids hang out down there, so the grown ups could have the upstairs area. It was a little too cold & dark for the kids to hang out down there so that space was never used. It was a shame since it is a beautiful room with a view. We would definitely consider renting the house again next year. The kids LOVED it. We would just make sure we brought a TV for the kids & utilize the first floor.

Thank you for sharing your home with us! The property was perfect for our weekend retreat: plenty of room to relax in comfort and all of the amenities of home. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

This is my second stay at the lodge and it just keeps getting better and better. Courtney and Rob gave a 10% off for a second booking. We had a full house- and everyone enjoyed it. The days were perfect for hiking at the Delaware Water Gap and hitting Sorrenti's ( a local winery) and the evenings were relaxing - we had both the outside fire pit and a cozy fire in the living room. The house has all the amenities one could wish for. The upstairs has an open house concept: kitchen , dining, living room with a huge deck for amazing views. It's nice to have a lower level family room. It is a peaceful retreat, nicely appointed, close to everything, tucked away on 47 acres. If you want to get away from it all and still have everything right at your finger tips you will love this place. I am looking forward to returning to the lodge at Cherrybrook.

Had a few friends and myself rent the house for Ironman Poconos 70.3 weekend. We figured it would be more comfortable than a hotel and we could plan meals, schedules, etc. We arrived Friday afternoon and took a self tour. The house is very cozy and inviting! It has the look of an old rustic lodge with modern appliances and technology. The house was very clean and well maintained. We asked to have the linens supplied and they were each vacuum sealed in separate packages on each bed when we arrived. The bathrooms appear newly remodeled with a nice half bath on the bottom floor and a large bathroom off the Master bedroom upstairs. The house is close to Stroudsburg and not far from the bike route for the Half Ironman so those not racing could figure out where they wanted to camp out and watch the racers pass by!! Courtney was great, checking in with me to make sure we arrived okay and everything was in order. I let her know when we were leaving and the little issue I had with turning the water switch off before running the final dishwasher load (oops!). She was very understanding! LOL If you go into town, on Main St in Stroudsburg you'll find quite a few pizza places. I HIGHLY recommend Goomba's. Pizza by the slice (HUGE) and their Buffalo Chicken pizza was amazing! Also the bike shop just a few blocks down was great and very helpful. I believe it was Mountain Valley Bicycles. Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed making S'mores in the fire pit! Great place to get some beautiful views of the landscape and fall foliage! Can just imagine how gorgeous it must be in the winter! Thanks for a great stay!

My son was getting married at the Stroudsmoor country Inn (beautiful place and they did a great job). The Lodge is only a 5 minute drive to Stroudsmoor and was so much nicer then staying in a hotel room. It had everything you would need and we were especially happy with the child gates, toys etc when our grandson was there. Worked out perfectly for the groomsmen getting ready. We loved the quiet secluded setting but you are not far from stores, sights etc. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives. Yes to all the Review Tips. We only went to Sarah Street Grill and the food was excellent. We are already talking about coming back and doing some sightseeing.

We really enjoyed the house. It was as pictured. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The linens we rented were clean and the beds were comfortable. Even though we keep strictly kosher, we were able to use the kitchen- the fridge, stovetop and microwave were all in working order. We used the firepit for our bbq's and marshmallows! We had 11 in our party and everyone had a place to sleep comfortably. Even though we felt we were far from everything and everyone, we were able to pick up our son from camp, go to various attractions (including DorneyPark and Lake Wallenpaupik) and were able to shop for food at the local ShopRite and for clothes etc at the nearby outlets. It was the best of both worlds for our short getaway! Would recommend this property to anyone.

This place was great. The house is beautiful and it comfortable and very relaxing. The owners have put a lot of thought in to this place. As a parent with a 7 year old and a 3 year old it was very refreshing to see that the house is very child proof, and safe, and even comes with toys to keep them occupied. This allows the adults to relax that much more knowing that the kids wont be taking a tumble down the stairs. My only regret is that I didnt have more time to spend there. It really is a beautiful thoughtfully laid out house on a great peice of land. This place would be great vacation for anyone with kids or with out. I am planing a return visIt for sure

What a wonderful vacation home! We went for a girl friend getaway and the accomendations could not have been better. From the comfy sofas, to the well equipt kitchen, and the tranquil setting, it made our stay delightful. The location was ideal for us. The Appalacchian Trail is 3 miles away. In the mornings, we sat out on the deck overlooking the Poconos, sipping coffee. We were able to spend the evening around the firepit (more than ample firewood was split and for our use) as well as several outdoor seating groups and a picnic table. We are already planning a return trip. Thank you Rob and Courtney for sharing your delightful home.

This is a really wonderful lodge in a green, quiet space, with all the amenities of home. It's spotless, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, stocked with cards and games. The picture doesn't show the fire pit where we toasted marshmallows and made s'mores, or the charcoal grill that came with all necessary supplies. Really nice. I would absolutely recommend it.

Loved it. While we used it for a "Girl's Getaway", I think it would be perfect for large families, too. June temps were perfect there, and I'd love to see it in the fall. Thanks so much for your efforts.

Our group had an amazing time staying here. The 8 of us had plenty of spaceand the fire pit outside gave us a great place to hang out after the bars in town closed down. The pictures do not do this place justice. It should also be noted that communication with the owners was terrific.
