Villa Le Tolé is a unique contemporary Provencal house, built in a quiet hillside residential area above the village of La Londe les Maures. The villa faces South, Southwest and offers breathtaking views over 30 kilometers of the French Riviera Coast, the beautiful islands of the "Iles d'Or" and the lovely Maures Hills.

La Londe les Maures is situated between the charming classic Provencal village Bormes les Mimosas and the ancient small city of Hyères, some 45 minutes from St.Tropez, 20 minutes from the local airport at Hyères/Toulon, a little closer to Marseille than to Nice.

Villa Le Tolé was built in 1999 on four half levels and is of the classic contemporary style with a large open plan kitchen, dining room opening to spacious terraces (250 square meters), partly covered. Living room on mezzanine. All four bedrooms are facing South and open each to the pool side terraces (three) or a deck (one) and are well shaded by Venetian style arches. Two large Tunesian style shower rooms, three water closets. The inside living area covers 200 square meters.

There is a utility area in the lower floor with washing and drying facilities. The garage has direct access to the house. Home water is softened. All rooms have electrical central floor heating for winter use and security shutters. The covered terrace offers excessive space for dining and relaxing, and stunning views over coast and islands. Outside are a heated Jacuzzi, curved pool (heated on demand), several terraces (partly furnished) and gas barbecue.

Pool and jacuzzi water is treated with an automated salt electrolytic system and is not chlorinated. Therefore sensitive eyes and skin are not affected. The jacuzzi is heated to 37°C all year round. Pool heating on demand at additional costs.

The terraced garden all around the house (2800 square meters) is planted with orange and lemon trees, rose laurels, cypresses, palm trees, pines, cork oak trees, olive trees, mimosas... and other mediterranean species. It is green and in flower all year round.

The Valcros golf club is nearby, nice and beautiful beaches are very close and invite for relaxing days. Local markets are always worth to be visited, as well as the charming regional restaurants. But, staying home always gives the ultimate feeling of vacation: relaxing on the terraces, overlooking kilometers of coastline and watching the time go by. Why not enjoy a delicious sunset dinner on the terrace, prepared and cooked by a local gourmet chef? And then at nighttime, sitting in the heated Jacuzzi and counting the stars above...

A short car drive takes you to the golf course Valcros, a 18-hole-course constructed in the 60-ies. It is beautifully imbedded in the natural surroundings, never a bore but varied and: it is open during 12 months. It is free of passing traffic, and also free of all those villas built almost into the fairways. The club atmosphere is at ease, and the restaurant offers terrific but simple regional cuisine. Other nice golf courses in the region: St. Endréol, Beauvallon, Valescure etc. Seasonal edge periods like March/April/May as well as October/November offer ideal conditions for golfers on the French Riviera: it's not too hot, the courses are not too crowded and: the Jacuzzi is nice warm and the pool heated on demand!

  • Einfach traumhaft!!!! Diese Villa kann man wirklich nicht anders beschreiben, vielleicht ist "göttlich" noch passend... Der Pool und Jacuzzi lassen einfach keine Wünsche übrig!!! Die atemberaubende Aussicht auf das "massif des maures" und das Meer bei Tag und vor allem bei Nacht lassen einen nur noch staunen... Die Villa ist zudem perfekt ausgerüstet, es fehlt an nichts um köstliche Meeresfrüchte und Spezialitäten der Provence selbst zuzubereiten... Kann die Villa nur vorbehaltlos weiterempfehlen!!!!!

  • Das Massif des Maures, das hinter dem Haus in seiner wilden Schönheit beginnt und über das der Blick schweifen kann, gehört zu den schönsten Landschaften, welche wir in Europa kennen. In einer solchen Landschaft in einem solchen Haus zu wohnen, ist schon eine Belohnung. Die Einrichtung des Hauses bietet allen Luxus, den man benötigt, um sich wohl zu fühlen, ohne sich in den Vordergrund zu drängen. Die Küche und der große Esstisch sind der Mittelpunkt des Hauses. Anonsten geht das in seinem Hauptbereich rundum verglaste Haus in seiner Umgebung auf. Hinter dem Haus liegt der Kräutergarten, der einen die Provence riechen lässt. Zwei Terassen höher findet sich der Bouleplatz, auf dem wir mit einem Drink ausgerüstet gern die letzten Sonnenstrahlen genossen und uns wie kleine Könige gefühlt haben. Wenn wir dann später im Jacuzzi gesessen und an das klare und saubere Meerwasser in den atemberaubend schönen kleinen Buchten zurückgedacht haben, haben wir uns immer wieder gefragt, ob es irgendeinen vernünftigen Grund gibt, statt dessen in einem Luxushotel unterzukommen.   • We spent the week before New Years Day in the wonderful Villa Le Tole with our three children and my parents! It was perfect for us for...relaxing, enjoying the fantastic views, soaking in the hot tub, playing ping pong and Boule together! We would have gladly stayed there all week without leaving once, but it was also a wonderful base from which to make day trips and see the rich variety of towns and sites in Provence! We would recommend the villa without hesitation for a family!

  • Der Aufenthalt in `Le Tole´`war für uns mehr als ein Urlaub. Das Haus und die Lage sind atemberaubend. Eine Vielzahl von Details, sowohl in der Architektur des Hauses als auch in der Möblierung, vermitteln ein Urlaubslebnis, welches uns weit über unseren Aufenthalt hinaus in guter Erinnerung bleibt.Die fürsorglichen Anregungen und liebevollen Tipps vom Hausherrn haben uns sehr geholfen, die tolle Umgebung rasch kennen zu lernen.Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf den nächsten Urlaub dort.   • La vie en rose, dans la maison rose!! Diese grosszügige Villa mit ihrer wunderschönen, sehr gepflegten Gartenanlage und dem "Pool with a view" lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der traumhafte Ausblick über die bewaldete Hügellandschaft hinunter zum Meer bleibt unvergesslich! Man möchte wiederkommen.

  • Notre première visite date de sept ans! La maison est toujours dans un état parfait, félicitations au propriétaire! Ce n'est pas évident, et nous pouvons recommander cette villa splendide à tous, qui aiment la tranquilité, la sérénité du Sud et le luxe d'avoir des prestations exceptionnels.   • Diese Villa ist ein Schmuckstück unter den Ferienhäusern. Sowohl der äussere architektonische Eindruck, als auch die innere persönliche Gestaltung überzeugen. Man spürt die Liebe des Besitzers zum Objekt an vielen Details. Der wunderschön angelegte Garten lädt zur Erkundung der heimischen Pflanzen ein. Phantastisch ist der Blick über die hügelige Landschaft bis zum Meer. Angenehm und entspannend sind Jacuzzi und Pool für Jung und Alt. Wir werden wieder kommen.

  • Stayed here in March 2006, for a week. The villa is beautiful, the view is spectacular, and all amenities are included. The owners' suggestions were all perfect (wine tasting, beaches, restaurants, etc). We had two dinners at the villa cooked by the local gourmet chef Max...BRAVO! If you are looking for a quiet secluded location, with amazing views and lovely decor, this is the place!

  • We stayed a week in “Le Tole” with our two kids and we enjoyed every hour. Though it was a short break the fantastic view, the open space luxury atmosphere and the various opportunities for the kids to play gave us what we needed: an easy relaxing holiday with the chance to see a lot of great places around La Londe but also with the cosy opportunity to just stay where you are. It’s a prove of the quality of Le Tole that we haven’t seen much of the area. We fix this issue with our next summer holiday,probably...
