Our accommodation were wonderful. The rooms were as described and more. Who wants to pay hotel prices for a room when you can pay basically the same and have a home. We had a fabulous time and your condo made it the perfect trip.

Three of us recently stayed in unit 5 and were very pleased. The unit is beautifully furnished with very large rooms. The property is within walking distance of all the must-see sights in Savannah. The owners, Whip and Stephanie couldn't have been nicer and truly went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

My husband and me celebrated our 21 wedding anniversary and we loved this condo. It was a great home away from home and as the other guests have stated the pictures do the place not as much justice as in person. The old historic feel to it was wonderful. We could not stop talking about the beautiful hard wood floors. Great place to stay.

We've stayed here for 4 days in august. The location is superb. We really liked to stroll the streets after diner and loved the beautiful houses and trees with the Spanish moss. Everything you need for your stay is in the apartment and the grocer is also nearby. It was quiet and safe and our 6 year old daughter had enough space to play. We've enjoyed the porch a lot. The only thing that was missing was a bigger table (for breakfast or dinner outside) and an extra chair. We didn't want to leave!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Robert E. Lee Suite at the Bird-Baldwin house. The condo was very tastefully furnished, and the jacuzzi tub was an unexpected surprise. It was evident that Stephanie and Trip had carefully considered the needs and comfort of their guests. The convenient location of the condo allows for comfortable walks to both the Riverfront and Forsyth Park.

We stayed here for a few nights in June, and although the sultry, deep south summers are all that's advertised, this condo was exceptional! Lovely old place with lots of character and close to the historic district and tour trolleys. We would highly recommend this place!

This is an amazing place to stay while in the beautiful city of Savannah. We just adore the condo with all its history and fabulous furnishings. Whip's collection book is a special souvenir. We will cherish our memories.

Our recent stay in Savannah, at the Bird Baldwin House, was everything that was advertised. The condo is very comfortable with tasteful furnishings and a wonderful atmosphere. The walk to River Street, the marketplace, etc., would be a bit of a stretch if you aren't used to it but for those of us who enjoy walking, it was great to wander thru the lovely squares and see the wonderful old homes or slip into any of the great art galleries, shops and unusual stores along the way to River Street. Stephanie and Whip are quick to respond to any problem you may have, too. All in all...great!!!

For us the whole idea of renting an apartment or condo is to get out of the cocoon hotels create and feel more like a member of the community we're visiting. We want more than a room, more than a house; we want a home. That's just what the Tripletts offer in their Bird-Baldwin House condominiums. We stayed in #6 (the blue bedroom in the pictures) and it was as comfy as could be. The location made walking to Bay St., Broughton St., City Market, SCAD and the Mercer-Williams House a treat rather than a chore. The veranda is just the spot for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine. The pictures don't do justice to the decor. The furnishings are of a high standard and the comfortable king-size bed was a welcome refuge after a "hard day" of shopping or sightseeing. Dealing with the owners was also a breeze. They answer emails and calls promptly. All their policies and directions are clear and easy to follow. If you're looking for a home in Savannah instead of just a place to stay, you've found it.

This condo was great! Perfect location for walking around Savannah and Whip is right, you need to walk Savannah to get the full experience. The Condo was very clean and a lot of extras. A few blocks away you can go the visitors center and get all of the information you need about Savannah or even catch a trolly. I wished we had stayed longer to use the huge bath tub, but with so much to do in the city, we just got a good nights rest and went back out for more. We will be back!

If you are history nuts like we are, you will love it. Being built in 1838, it has been nicely updated, but still has its historical character. It is located on Liberty Street, so close to walk to places in the historical district. If you are a light sleeper like me, you might want make sure the beautiful plantation shutters are closed before you go to sleep to keep some of the morning traffic noise out during the weekdays. It definitely helped the next morning. The back deck is also nice for morning coffee. The complimentary postcard collection book by Whip is informative and interesting. Although we went in August during the hottest weekend of the year so far, we still enjoyed our stay and plan to stay at the Triplett's condo again...perhaps in cooler temperatures! Stephanie is very prompt and professional in her responses. We definitely recommend this rental.

Thank you does not seem to be enough to say for the time we had in Savannah!!! We LOVED IT!!! The room was wonderful. We have lived in apartments smaller than that! We will be back to visit one day, I just know it. I have alreay given your information to a couple people John works with and hopefully my mom and step-dad will also be visiting. Again, we could not have asked for better. Thank you so much for everything. Have a great summer!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Whip and Stephanie's condo very much. The location of the condo made it easy for us to walk to almost everything we wanted to see and do. The condo itself is lovely and met all of our expectations and requirements. We would definitely recommend this condo to visitors. This was our first visit to Savannah, but we hope it won't be our last. And we'd love to stay in the same place next time.

We were a bit leary of booking without a contract, but we have absolutely no regrets. The condo is every bit as nice as described, and we walked everywhere. It was so nice to be able to come "home" and put our feet up for a little bit before heading out again. A word to the wise: bring good walking shoes, because Savannah is truly a walking city! The words in Whip's book are so true: "You cannot experience Savannah from a car." And the longer you stay, the more you will like it! I feel confident that we will return, and that we will stay in this condo when we do.

Whipp and Stephanie are great hosts/owners and certainly know how to treat guests. The property was historic - restored to reveal the beauty of the home, with just enough modern conveniences added to provide the necessary "creature comforts." Meticulously clean, comfortable bed, jacuzzi tub for two, fireplace in the parlor - just to name of the few things we liked best about this accomodation. Thank you once again!

We had a great time in Savannah and much of this was due to being in such an excellent condo. The unit is superbly located with all of the Historic District and Downtown within an easy walk. It is a very attractive property; beautifully decorated; very comfortable and well-equipped. If we return to Savannah (it's a long trip for us!)we wouldn't hesitate to return to the same property and we will happily recommend it to anyone we hear of who is thinking of visiting Savannah.

Whip was very accommodating to my schedule, and even came to rescue when I locked myself out by accident. If I come to Savannah again, I will stay here again. I highly recommend this property.

Our first trip to Savannah was fantastic and we so enjoyed the condo. It is beautifully decorated and has some of the special touches that you only find in an historic home. The location is very convenient to the sites in Savannah. Whip and his charming son picked us up at the airport when the rental car company "lost" our reservation, but a car really isn't necessary unless you want to take a day trip out of the city. We have already recommended this property to some friends who are planning a trip to Savannah.

We visited the condo in mid-December. It was absolutely beautiful-exceeded our expectations! Whip was great- he met us there late with the keys, recommended tours, restaurants, and offered us a city map. The furnished kitchen was a great perk and had everything we needed. We would definitley recommend staying here if you want easy access to historic Savannah - we walked everywhere!

My wife and I really enjoyed our anniversary week in Savannah, and the condo was a major part of it. The place was beautiful, convenient to all over the historic part of town (we walked everywhere), and a nice place to be able to rest in the middle of thee day. We'll look into reserving it again if we're back in the area.

We had a wonderful time in Savannah. I was 8 months pregnant and had no problems getting around from the condo. We walked everywhere and found the location not only to be convenient to historic Savannah, but also to the rest of the city, as well. Whip greeted us (in the rain) with a smile and suggestions for enjoying the city. We will stay here again!

Beautifully decorated, clean and has everything you need - the jacuzzi is GREAT after a long day of sightseeing.
