It's that time of year when you might be planning a summer vacation for your family. Meadow Lake Golf course is across the street. Whitefish Mountain is only a 20 minute drive up the BIG hill. The lodge is the perfect place to relax after a long day on the golf course. The large living space provides plenty of room to stretch out on the extra large sofa or soothe your tired muscles in the jetted tub. The neighborhood deer frequently wander by we never grow tired of seeing them. The bedrooms have log beds and cozy woodsy comforters so that when you wake up you'll be reminded , you are in Montana! We have two queen beds and one king, also a set of twin log beds. We are a kid friendly location, and have a very large living area,and kitchen.The houses dining tables seat ten, after a long day sight seeing and touring Glacier Park its so relaxing to have a place to sit and eat. Many local restaurants serves wonderful take out. The neighborhood is quiet and the house sits on an acre lot. If you enjoy golfing I'm sure you love the quick walk to the Meadow Lake Golf course and resort across the street. The course features 18 holes and is 4 1/2 star rated. It also boasts a wonderful restaurant and bar the is open to the public. The back yard fire pit has been popular with our guests on the cool Montana evenings.

My daughter was recently married in Glacier National Park and she recommended our family stay at a vacation rental. She lives in the Columbia Falls area and this home was just minutes from her own. We had 3 other couples stay with us and the vacation rental was perfect for us. The home allowed us to stay together rather than in separate hotel rooms. We made a few meals together and even made a few salads in the beautiful kitchen for the reception dinner. I was very pleased with the open floor plan, beautiful views, the walks by the golf course that is across the road and just couldn't have asked for a more perfect home for our family to stay at. I very much enjoyed having us all together in one home and it was gorgeous. I very much recommend this vacation rental to families to stay at for what ever reason they are traveling to the beautiful state of Montana! We (two families with kids) had a great time! The property is spacious, fully equipped and well maintained. Close to Glacier National Park and other local attractions. Owner (Jody) is very helpful and knowledgeable about local area. The Tamarack Meadow Lodge was a perfect base for our 2 week Glacier family vacation! It was very comfortable and provided plenty of space. The personal touches and extras made our stay even better. From the provided cooler, bottled water, bear spray, bug spray, brochures, games, and a binder full of useful information.....even a solar light at the driveway to help us locate the home after our midnight arrival! This was an immaculate home. The beds were comfortable and the ceiling fans in the bedrooms were a definite bonus. (My family all sleep with ceiling fans at home!) There is a huge hot water tank, so no worries about running out in the shower. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. The home also has a fire pit, gas grill, and large lawn. We loved our stay and miss it already! This is a highly recommended rental for any type of group!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

What a great place!!! Very clean and very tastefully decorated! Location fantastic as it was close to all attractions, restaurants and right across the street from the Meadow Lake Resort Golf Course. Beautiful treed lot with a fire pit which was used every night with lots of privacy. The house is spectacular with lots of room and space for everyone and everything you could ever need is there. Watching the golfers from our deck, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings made for a perfect getaway for all of us. We'll be going back for sure!!! very nice quiet country setting in a wooded location, across from the golf course. only a mile to the grocery store and restaurants. the photo's were very good and represented the house well. the house its self is spotless and roomy. we are considering coming back with all our kids and grandkids. plenty to see and do in the area. the decor in the home reflected montana. the owners are very helpful and wonderful to work with. we liked dancing at the eagles in kalispell eating out in columbia falls, and of course visting glacier park which is about 20 miles away.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We had a short stay, but I am already considering ways to make use of this property in the future. It's location and size makes it ideal for large groups on a retreat and/or family getaways or gatherings. No photos on page at the time of our stay, but the house is very clean and nice. Very fresh and current. A large kitchen would make putting together meals for large hungry groups a breeze, even with multiple cooks operating at the same time. A large living/gathering room just across the open bar top from the kitchen. Two dinning tables. One of them is one coolest tables I have ever had the pleasure to be seated at. About the owner: We have been married 41 years and we chose to raise our four kids in the great state of Montana. We now get to share this life adventure with our eight grand children with two new ones this year! Tom and our sons and grandsons enjoy hunting. I enjoy watching deer, birds, elk but most of all a moose if I'm lucky. We also love rafting and fishing. We our out going and loving meeting all the people that stay at our lodge.
Why the Owner Chose Columbia Falls:
We choose this location because it was a project! And we love projects! We completely remodeled the house. It also is great location with the golf couse across the street. The wooded lot is lovely! Columbia Falls is our home town! We feel its the best place in the world to raise a family and also vacation!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
In the afternoon the deer walk out of the woods and graze on the grass in the back yard. You can watch them easily from the back bedrooms or the patio between the house and garage. It's a great place for a family reunion! Lots of living space to spread out and enjoy each others company. We have plenty of parking and could also accommodate an RV, (with out hook ups.) Across the street cross country skiing trails are located on the golf course. It also has a shuttle to Whitefish Mountain.
