I have spent the past 30+ summers visiting my parents in Linville Land Harbor (LLH), and I can’t imagine vacationing anywhere else. I love that my memories of all the adventures and fun times I had here with my parents and children now include ever-growing memories of similar times with my grandchildren. This summer when my daughters and grandchildren came to visit, I decided to rent this beautiful golf course home in order to fit everyone in more comfortably. When I called the friendly owner to discuss the rental, I was delighted to learn that his parents and mine were among the first owners in LLH. They all enjoyed golfing and partying together, and his aunt was my late mother’s walking buddy and close neighbor. Then upon my arrival, I was absolutely stunned by the expansive view of the lush golf course, the high quality renovations, the fully stocked top-of-the-line large gourmet kitchen, the beautiful living and dining room furnishings, and the massive stone fireplace in the open, inviting living room and romantic, dreamy master bedroom suite. The attention to detail in this rental is beyond exceptional, and the amenities both within and outside the resort are plentiful. We could not have been more delighted or enjoyed ourselves more than we did in this gorgeous mountain home. BTW, when I said the only problem you may have while vacationing in LLH may be that of choosing among all the available activities, I meant it! Among other things, LLH offers golf, golf scrambles, tennis, interclub tennis matches, tennis clinics, tennis lessons for all ages and abilities, open and adult swimming, Aquacize, Water Walking, zumba, yoga, fishing, fly fishing clinics, kids fishing derbies, an annual Fish Fry, canoeing, shuffle board, billiards, table tennis, dance lessons in ballroom, shag, and square dancing, dances, bingo, bridge and card games, hiking, boating, arts and crafts galore, craft fairs, flea markets, music and jam sessions, a show group and annual play, computer classes, Bible Studies, social hours, cookouts, a dog park and family fun in the tree houses at Camp Adventure. These activities are just what's offered inside the resort; I would run out of space if I tried to tell you all about what is available in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains! Live just doesn't get any better than in LLH!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
