  We just returned from our Florida spring vacation on the beach. This townhome was perfect - clean, nicely decorated, and had everything that we could possibly need. The best part, of course, was the location - right on the beach. The beach was beautiful - perfect white sand and beautiful clear blue water. It literally took about 30 seconds for us to walk out of the door of the townhome and have our toes in the sand! The views from the balconies were terrific! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

  I visit Seagrove each year and stay at Walton Dunes and each year my stay there is excellent. Location is perfect and the town home is equipped with everything to make one feel at home. The renovations to the home this past year are great. It just gets better every time I stay there. Love my annual visit.

  Your search is over. Hidden off 30A, this Walton Dunes townhome offered everything my friends and I could hope for in a stay by the beach: well-maintained accommodations at a fair price, fantastic location with wonderful views, and friendly and conscientious owners. Walton Dunes #2 was clean, comfortable and fun with its bright, beach-themed rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed and we practically had to drag the men away from the cable TV and comfortable sofa in the living room. Moreover, I absolutely loved lounging on one of the two balconies overlooking the beach. The location! The best part is that this townhouse is, literally, steps from the beach with a private walkway for Walton Dunes residents. Just look at the photos taken from the master suite and living room. You are where you want to be. If you do not like to surround yourself with people, then this is the beach for you. No high-rises or hotels are nearby. It is a beautiful beach in a safe neighborhood far enough off the highway that cars do not wander near this stretch of beach. Yet, you are just minutes away by car from the activities in Seaside and the other villages along 30A. Let me not forget to mention, Deer Lake State Park is just a couple of houses down from the townhouse. This gives you even more space to spread out along the beach, or you can walk up the long boardwalk overlooking the beautiful dunes and lakes. Please be aware during floods, the lakes along 30A sometimes reach the Gulf. It is an amazing sight when the lake waters break through and crashes with the Gulf! The owners truly care that you are happy with your accommodations and overall experience. Correspondence with the owner, Janet, was extremely pleasant, fast and easy. She handled our change of dates, our worry over Hurricane Isaac and our concern over items forgotten at the townhome smoothly and efficiently. The owners chose a great management company. Management was friendly and housekeeping, besides doing an excellent job cleaning the townhouse, found my friend’s jewelry, which was packaged by management and returned to us. I do not hesitate in recommending Walton Dunes unit 2 to anyone looking for nice, safe, budget friendly beach home away from home. I hope to have many happy returns at “Beauty and the Beach.”

  Walton Dunes @ Seagrove was absolutely WONDERFUL! The property was wonderfully maintained. It was clean, bright and had all the comforts of home; yet it was a hop, skip and jump to the beach. It looks exactly like the photos that are posted, plus some extra features that made the trip all the more wonderful. The extra towels came in handy and the washer and dryer made it easy for us neat freaks to feel at home. The hardwood floors, granite counter tops and decor absolutely beachy. The view from the balconies which overlooked the beach, made for stunning sunsets before heading out for dinner. And having all the amenities like dishes, cooking essentials, and utensils made it for an easy breakfast at the breakfast bar. The kids had plenty to do too, with fun in the sun, playing in the sand. And evenings were full of family game nights due to their well stocked selves of family board games. Don't fret TV people, their were plenty of those too. Nights were filled with turtle hunting and crab watching by flashlights that made my teenager leave his gadgets behind to be fully engrossed with the adventure. There are plenty of places to go shopping and outside activities that meet everyone's budget, the choices are unlimited; and having your car puts you minutes away from great restaurants and town exploration. Walton Dunes was a hidden gem worth finding. This was a wonderful mini getaway for our family of four, currently on a budget. And the only downfall was that we had to leave and could not extend our stay. (Kids are in school) We are looking forward to booking again, but this time......WE ARE STAYING LONGER!

  This property is wonderful. The furnishings were clean, comforatable, warm, and had that terrific "beachy" charm. It was so relaxing to sit on the balcony and have my morning coffee and to watch the sunset each evening. A short walk across the private walk-way and you are on the beach. Bicycle rentals are close by and makes for the perfect transportation for that area. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

  The townhouse was exactly as described, very comfortable, with magnificent views. We would return to this property with no hesitation. Our family of four had plenty of room to spread out and everything was clean and convienent. The ocean was not crowded and the water was clear and fairly calm. We enjoyed swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and fishing right from the beach. This area was very family friendly. There are many restaurants near and right on 30a and all of the beaches near Seagrove. Thanks for a great vacation!

  As a budget conscious family of 3 our goal when vacationing is to have fun and get the most bang for our buck. Unit 2 at Walton Dunes certainly fits the bill. We found the Condo to be clean, well kept, and newly remodeled. The pictures on VRBO don’t show the updated renovations but we were pleasantly surprised to find new hardwood floors on the 1st level as well as granite countertops in the kitchen. The kitchen has everything needed to cook any meal including small appliances; coffee maker, blender, toaster, etc. The only thing lacking was an outdoor grill which was not critical to our stay because we dined out every evening, but we did prepare breakfast and lunch in every day. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, both with showers. The master bedroom has a walkout balcony with stunning views of the Gulf, and a very comfortable King bed. The other bedroom includes two twin beds which was perfect for our 2 year old. We came prepared with a bed rail, and he slept great after playing on the beach all afternoon. There were plenty of bath towels available and all the bed linens were clean and comfy. Having a washer and dryer was also nice. I can’t say enough about the location of this condo; it’s really the best part. The neighborhood was wonderful, safe, and pristine. The condo is beachside and faces slightly west overlooking the gulf, perfect for breathtaking sunset views. There is a private walk/bridge that takes you from the foot of the condo to the beach. It’s only about 40 yards from pavement to sand, and only Walton Dune residents are allowed to use it so it receives very little traffic. We were there in early April, and there were people on the beach but it felt like we had the place to ourselves. We used the chair service that provides rentals for Walton Dunes. At $20.00/day for two chairs and a shade, it’s not cheap but it sure makes things easy. We used them every day without a twinge of guilt. There are plenty of things to do in the area, but it’s not as lively as Destin/Panama City which is the way we like it. There are a number of wonderful restaurants nearby including The Red Bar and Shorty’s in Grayton Beach, the Sea Grove Market (Grouper Sammy’s for lunch), the Taco Bar in Seaside for fish tacos, and the Great Southern Café for down home style. Steer clear of Pandora’s Steakhouse! Janet ensured that everything was great for our stay. The Condo and location are fabulous, and we will definitely return!

  Just 3 miles south of Seaside this is a great location. Two balcony’s over looking the gulf. The walkway to the beach is right outside your door. The beach to the east is a state park so it is not very crowded. Everything worked great. Hope to stay here again. Great eating just down the road At Seaside. A large grocery store is 4-5 miles away.

  A wonderful vacation rental! Our family enjoyed a relaxing 2-week stay in this comfortable, well maintained town home. The location is ideal - an uncrowded beach with great restaurants and amenities nearby. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the balconies. The owner was quick to respond to questions. We have plans to return next year!
