  We were looking for a rental near family who live in the area and came across Sue's guesthouse. We were impressed by the reviews and her responses, many owners don't comment on the reviews and we have found those who do are much more interested in making your stay enjoyable. The guest house is clean, comfortable and in a great area. We were so surprised to find items in the fridge when we arrived and really enjoyed the fresh eggs! Sue and her son were very helpful but not intrusive. We will be back when we return to visit our family!

  Owner response: Speaking of impressed, I was impressed at how quickly your daughter felt "at home." When I arrived home from work your first day (I think you had been there about 30 minutes) she was singing and skipping along the pier. Sooooo cute! I am glad you had a pleasant stay.   We just spent a month at this little guest house and are thrilled with everything about it.Lovely accommodating owner,secure property with just about everything we could want. A dog to announce our arrivals, chickens giving us fresh eggs daily. We would do it again in a flash-our family lives about 6 minutes away which was perfect for commuting, without getting in each others' faces all the time. So much to see and do in the area. Our first VRBO and we highly recommend it.

  My wife, teenage sons, and I had a great stay at this pool cottage. The place itself was very comfortable, with much light, high ceilings and other features that made it seem larger than a typical one bedroom rental. And one simply cannot overstate the great views right outside the living room window and from the hot tub by the pool. It's also a great place from which to start a walk, and we did so on multiple occasions (even though the particular days we visited were cold by Bay Area standards). Our hostess Sue was friendly & helpful.

  Our cottage was clean, modern and comfortable. The setting was beautiful on the bay. The hostess was very accommodating and gracious. We definitely would go back there any time we are in the bay area!

  We were happy with the beach house. It was in a good location; everything we needed was handy. It was clean, pleasant & comfortable. We loved being on the water. In short, it was so nice to come home to ! Thanks !

  My parents and I were looking for a cabin to stay for three days to shoot photos of Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco. And We were so fortunate to discover Sue's Pool house. Since with all the crazy traffics of San Francisco. The location was perfect. What an extraordinary find!! From the moment we walked in we knew this would be an unforgettable weekend. My favorite things worth raving about are: the incredible ocean front view , serenity and heated floor. The huge hot tub and pool outside would make great vacation getaway to both family and honeymooners. The quiet neighborhood, the frangrance of exotic flowers were just amazing. . The owner was super helpful in providing us with all the necessities, she offered us fresh organic eggs and fresh fruits from her garden. It was yummy treats. She even had some food in the fridge for us to have. It was just amazing to see her chickens freely roaming around the garden. My eight months old puppy Bori even had great time watching the ocean for the first time in her life and feeling the fresh ocean breeze. She was sitting on the deck watching the waves. The pool house has its own fenced area so if you are planning to bring your dog, it is just perfect place. We are now spoiled, thank you Sue for a wonderful and unforgettable weekend in San Francisco Bay area. We will definitely go back.

  What a relaxing place to be! Plenty of room for my wife and I and Sue was a great host! Just a fun place to be with roaming chickens, a friendly cat and playful dog. The view was spectacular! Sue was great with making sure we had all we needed and even went out of her way by putting farm fresh eggs in the refrigerator for us to cook in the morning. Quiet location, very clean and well maintained. Double thumbs up! We'll definitely stay again!

  My husband and I stayed in this guest house to be close to my son who we were visiting. Both of us absolutely loved staying here! It's wonderful in so many ways. From the location, water front view, dock, chickens, beautiful garden, fresh tomatoes, and so much more, it was all great. The home was cozy and comfortable, airy, bright, clean and new. The private little front yard on the water and also the open area with pool/jacuzzi access were awesome. Our host who was readily available was like the neighbor everyone dreams of, helpful, friendly and non intrusive. I really can't say enough good things about it. It was so easy to find comfort and beauty here. Super relaxing. After five days here, we were ready to move in!

  Not only was the house amazing, even better than described, the owner was so kind and helpful! We felt like we were staying with a friend. The house/view/amenities were excellent. Zero complaints, only praise! Hope to be able to come back someday. Thanks Sue!

  Our three days at this cottage were the true vacation on this this whirlwind tour of California colleges with our daughter. Our host was extremely helpful and gracious from our initial email request to our last good-byes. We arrived to treats in the fridge for our enjoyment. The cottage is quite spacious with high ceilings giving an airy open presence to each room. Furnishings, appliances, and electronics were all high quality. It is obvious that thought and quality product went into the building materials, plumbing & lighting. To take a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon glass of wine on our outside deck as we watched the Larkspur ferry zip across the Bay was vacation to me. As a gardener, I loved the plants we cannot grow back east. The pool was available for our use as if it was our own. We grilled fresh snapper one night and ate by the pool. The owner's dog and chickens had free range of most of the property making us homesick for our dogs back home in Vermont and making us feel at home here. Perhaps one of the best things about this cottage is the five minute drive to the 101 and access to supplies and San Francisco. I cannot say more about accomodations and our host, Sue, except to say San Francisco State is top of the list so chances are we will be returning and hopefully, we will be able to stay here again.
