Cozy, family chalet that is perfect for summer get-aways! Located on a dead-end road, this quiet location is great for families. This chalet is just steps to the lake for relaxing by the water and swimming and the Georgian trail for walking and biking on. Plus the area is renowned for biking, hiking, canoeing and all water sports. Access to The Niagara Escarpment - a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve - and the Bruce Trial, is within a few minutes drive of the chalet.
The chalet has 3 spacious bedrooms downstairs with Master bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms have a set of twin beds and a set of Queen bunk-beds - great for a bunch of kids! Upstairs is the comfy living room, large dining room off the well appointed kitchen and a large den with the entertainment area. A spacious deck off the living room is a wonderful place to eat or have a relaxing drink at the end of the day.
Only a quick drive to the quaint town of Thornbury with wonderful restaurants, boutique stores and all the amenities you will need. Or, Collingwood is a 15 minute drive away if you need a larger town for shopping, movies and entertainment.
The Village at Blue Mountain is minutes away and offers a unique experience for children (the Ridge Runner Coaster and Plunge Pool), parents (the Gondola, restaurants and shopping) and sports enthusiasts!

The Chalet was a perfect spot for our extended family vacation. The Chalet was well appointed with many extras such as cooking accessories, barbeque, heated bathroom floors and a great CD collection! After a long day of skiing, we especially appreciated the hot tub! The chalet was very clean and the ambiance warm and welcoming! Thanks for sharing your special place with us, we loved it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I, along with 3 other couples and a newborn baby, spent a wonderful long weekend at this chalet. It was wonderful. It was extremely clean and very spacious. Even though it was a large group of us, we all had our own space and it never felt cramped. The large living and dining room were much appreciated and allowed for great group dinners and evenings spent playing games, listening to music and chatting. The hot tub was also a nice added feature! The cottage is very close to Collingwood and the Blue Mountain resort area. We took advantage of the local beaches, the Scandinavia Spa and the really tasty restaurants in town. Rachel was very easy to work with – she always answered my questions quickly, and the booking process was very smooth and simple. I would highly recommend this chalet to anyone looking for a getaway. We’re already dreaming of a trip back next summer!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and two teenage sons spent a fantastic week in this chalet - very well appointed, great location, close to everything you want in the Blue Moutain region. A small glitch was quickly resolved with the owner and all booking transactions handled easily. This modern chalet is as pictured - each room has plenty of space, very comfortable furniture, all appliances worked well...excellent selection of music and games for family time in the evening. A glorious week of swimming, tennis, golf and hot tubbing under the stars....and an "opportunity" to see the annual Elvis Festival in Collingwood!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Hi Rachael, I just wanted to touch base after our weekend at your cottage. Your chalet was beautiful. It was an amazing location and the perfect place to spend a long weekend. The girls and I were blown away by how nice and fully equipped the chalet was. The beach was so close and the water was perfect. We spent most afternoons there.
