  First time we've ever stayed anywhere where the owners thought of EVERYTHING. If we ever visit Bradenton beach again we will be sure to book this GORGEOUS condo again, it was PERFECT.

  My wife, son and I stayed here for 4 wonderful days! It was FANTASTIC! Laura and Jeff treated us like long lost friends and I hope we become just that... FRIENDS! The place is wonderful, only 200 yards from the beach in one direction and 200 yards from the bay in the other direction. The unit is extremely well kept, comfortable and spotless. We will definitely return. If you are considering a place on Anna .Marie Island, this is the place you should stay

  I cannot say enough about this place! My husband and I and are two children, 5 and 2 stayed here and it was just wonderful. Being right across from the beach was so nice. They provide everything you need to have a great day at the beach. From a huge wagon to haul your things (or your children) to beach toys and great chairs with coolers in them. My husbands favorite thing was the relaxing outdoor shower. After a long day at the beach coming back and being able to shower off in the wonderful outdoor shower was such a luxury! The beds were very comfortabel and all the linens were more than customary. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to have meals there. The large porch was great for coffee in the mornings and grilling in the evenings. We would absolutely stay there again!!

  TO ALL OUR FRIENDS AND RELATIVES....................... I AM MAKING A RECOMMENDATION FOR THE PLACE WE LIVE IN FOR 2.5 MONTHS EACH YEAR . . .FEB 1ST TO APRIL 15TH. WE HAVE STAYED A LOT OF PLACES IN THE LAST 14 YEARS, HOWEVER, NONE COMPARES WITH THE PLACE WE HAVE HAD THE LAST 3 YEARS. NOT ONLY IS THE PLACE NICE.........2 BEDROOMS.........1.5 BATHS.........FULL LAUNDRY...........A SCREENED-IN LANAI THAT WILL HOLD 40 PEOPLE . IT HAS TWO KAYAKS, ALONG WITH ALL THE BEACH CHAIRS, UMBRELLAS, WAGONS, ETC.,ETC. IT IS LOCATED AT 200 25TH STREET, BRADENTON BEACH, FLORIDA, 34217,AND IS KNOWN AS "BARNEY'S BUNGALOW" 1 BLOCK FROM THE BEACH. WITHOUT QUESTION, THE OWNERS, JEFF AND LAURA BARNES ARE THE MOST ACCOMODATING LANDLORDS WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH A REALTOR. RENTALS MAY BE MADE BY WEEK OR MONTH AND I'M PRETTY SURE FOR A FEW DAYS. IF THE WEST COAST OF FLORIDA IS YOUR DESTINATION, CONSIDER ANNA MARIA ISLAND, BRADENTON BEACH AND BARNEY'S BUNGALOW !!!   Our rental experience could not have been better. The bungalow was beautifully furnished, thoughtfully appointed, and immaculate. We would definitely return! My sons really loved the nice big TVs! Great location as well!

  I stayed here in mid summer and it was a purely divine summer-at-the-beach experience. Loved every minute of it. I was not sure what to expect with a "Autumn At The Beach" visit, but decided to give it a whirl. Equally enjoyable! Fall was less busy at the beach, but that was great for extended private walks on the beach, sleeping in, and enjoying the great local fare without a wait. The lodging was pristine, comfortable and beautifully upgraded. It feels like home within minutes, and frankly, I did not want to leave! The owners have thought of every need that may arise, supplying a bountiful kitchen and bath as well as state of the art electronics. The beds are super comfortable and I had none of the backache I usually have outside my own bed. Plenty of pillows and blankets to make even a chilly night a dream. Thanks So Much for providing this great space to relax and renew!

  We LOVED this rental! It is exactly as listed/pictured and MORE. Very clean unit and the downstairs shower is a huge plus. The patio worked beautifully for having friends over to grill. Kitchen having basic spices, oil, & condiments was an unexpected bonus. The owners really have thought of everything to make your stay stress free and comfortable. Beach is gorgeous & easily accessible, kayaking with Almost Heaven was amazing, Jose's Real Cuban Food is a short drive and fantastic, & fresh seafood at every corner. Owners were prompt and easy to work with. We would recommend booking without hesitation! Can't wait to come back -

  I stayed at this condo with my children (adult and younger). The condo was especially clean and comfortable. A short walk from the beach sand. Absolutely love the screened porch and availablilty of the washer and dryer. Enjoyed the neighborhood and accessibility to walk or ride bikes on the island. Our family is looking forward to our next visit. :)

  Dear Laura & Jeff: I looked at the format for doing a review and decided just to write our own feelings. Anna Maria Island has been our winter home for the last 14 years . . .the last two of which were spent at "Barney's Place." We have always stayed within 3 blocks of this location because we enjoy the central location to everything, especially the beach. The past two years at your facility have been the most enjoyable and we don't have any plans to change, already having made reservations for 2013. My wife is a beach person, enjoying the one block walk to the beach daily. The walk and stay on the beach are certainly made easy with the wagon and all the other items . . .umbrellas, sun shelters, chairs, floats, etc. Kayak and wade fishing and golf are my favorite pastimes and I truly enjoy doing this in the winter. This type of fishing is within one block of your location and golf courses are within a 20 minute drive. Naturally, staying at Barneys, we have many visitors, relatives and friends enjoying everything your facility provides. And, the best test is, none of them want to leave. We truly enjoy how Barneys is furnished and equipped . . . the kitchen, bathrooms and everything else is there and we don't have to do without any conveniences. We have many, many parties and the screened-in room is perfect for fish fries, holiday gatherings, etc. Many times we have 25 to 30 people as guests. Laura and Jeff, you are wonderful landlords. You are warm, friendly and very accommodating . . .yet as tenants, we rarely see you. You go out of your way to make anyone's stay a vacation that will always be remembered, making everyone want to return. You make your tenants feel special . . .not just another renter. So . . .pack your bags and head to Barney's Place on Anna Maria Island. We guarantee you will love it. Please feel free to use us as a reference. Happy days, Peg & Loyd
