This is a stylish 5 bedroom home in the vibrant area of Islington, North London.
The living room consists of 2 rooms, one with a sofa and 2 very comfortable armchairs and the other facing the garden with a rocking chair and another armchair. There are wooden floors throughout this space and the window on the street side has white shutters on the windows. Both rooms have stylish central lights and numerous little lights to create a warm atmosphere.
The kitchen has all white modern fitted cupboards and a corian worktop. The breakfast bar has 2 stools and the table can fit up to 8 people. There is a microwave, normal electric oven and a gas cooker with 6 rings. Outside the kitchen is the patio with another garden table which can fit up to 8 people.
The first floor consists of the master bedroom with a double bed (160cm), another bedroom with a single bed, a toilet room and the bathroom. The bathroom has a deep bath with a shower screen and a basin.
The 2nd floor consists of a single bed room, a double bedroom (140cm bed). Both these rooms have a view onto the garden. The 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds. In this room you will find the TV and DVD player. There is also a desk with printer available.
Our house is situated 2 minutes from the lovely Highbury fields, so the whole place feels very leafy. Highbury fields have a children playground, a gym with a swimming pool. One factor that convinced to buy the house is the fantastic French bakery at the end of the Road (Peche Mignon). They serve the best baguette and croissant in London and believe us, we have searched! Ideally situated to explore London for a great city break, Islington itself is a hip, sophisticated destination on the northern edge of Central London. The renowned Almeida Theatre and Kings Head Theatre Pub are in the neighbourhood as are all the main supermarkets, plus endless boutiques, cafes, restaurants, very fine food and antique shops. You’re about a 15 minute walk to Upper Street which is home to a couple of cinemas, many restaurants, cafes, and shops. We are also very close to the Emirates Stadium for the Arsenal football fans! For transport, we are just a 5 minutes’ walk to 2 tube stations. One is Highbury & Islington from where the Victoria line can take you to the West End in less than 10 minutes but also the Overground line which can take you to the Olympic stadium in 15 minutes. The other tube station is Holloway Road. The Piccadilly line runs through there. You can reach Heathrow airport in approximately 1 hour. It also takes you to Covent Garden in under 15 minutes. At the nearby bus-stop, you’ll find the 43 bus which will take you to London bridge and the famous Borough market (the best food market in England!) We would hope that the house and garden would receive the care and consideration given to a home rather than a rental unit.

About the owner: We have been living in the house for the last 4 years. We bought it as a derelict house and put a lot of work to transform it into our lovely family home. We have a boy and a girl so we are set up for children and can cover toys, book for both gender!
Why the Owner Chose Islington: Islington simply combines the best of London. It's central yet very quiet, I can hear the birds singing as I write this. But if you want the buzz of restaurants, shops, cinemas, theatres, 5 minutes walk is all it takes.
The Unique Benefits at this House: We are really into cooking so the kitchen is really well equipped and the heart of the house. When the weather allows it, eating on patio is just lovely.
