Escape to breathtakingly beautiful Sanibel Island! Our 1BR/1BA condo features beautiful Gulf of Mexico views from the large screened lanai that opens into the living room and the bedroom. Our second floor condo is C204 at Sundial Beach Resort - West, and is truly paradise! Our recently updated condo is well equipped for all your vacationing needs and is highlighted by local birds and beach art. We provide 2 bicycles for your enjoyment of the nearly 30 miles of bike trails, which will take you nearly everywhere on the island including the J.N. 'Ding' Darling Wildlife Preserve. The 'Ding' Darling is one of the top ten bird sanctuaries in the US and is one of our personal favorites on the island.

My husband and I welcomed the chance to get away from the North and spend a week next to the beach. We enjoyed using the nice bikes and helmets and eating out each night. We biked to breakfast, skipped lunch and indulged every dinner, except for the last night when we stayed on the beach for sunset. ' We had a chance to visit the Historic Village, Jerry's, The Island Cow (twice), Cipo's, Greenhouse, Sweet Madeline's, Great White and The Shell Show was happening while we were in town! This was a great place to honeymoon. It was very close to the beach. The pools were great. The condo was very well equipped and had everything we could think of. It is the first time to Sanibel for my husband and I. Things have been a bit chaotic at home and we needed a place to regroup. This was just what we needed! Your home is very inviting and we want to thanks you for sharing it with us. We have always vacationed in Florida, my parents lived on the east coast. This is our 4th visit to Sanibel and we will return! We woke up early every day, rode your bicycles to breakfast, enjoyed the Over Easy Cafe, Island Cow and shopping, browsing, visiting Captiva, going to the pool and beach. About the owner: I am Katrina Wilhelm. My husband, Dan and I are from Indiana. We love to travel and fell in love with the island. He enjoys photography and hiking, while I love the pool and the beach. We both love biking around the island. We have 2 dogs that currently don't travel with us, but they are looking forward to us retiring so that they can go on some of our trips. Dan is an engineer and I am a small business owner. We try to get away at least 4 times a year. We are looking forward to coming back to the island in the future.
Why the Owner Chose Sundial:
We always try to escape from the gray days of winter in the north to the sun soaked south and this year found Sanibel. The island offered everything we were looking for; the beach, the 'Ding' Darling NWR and we knew we wanted to return and felt this was a great place to make this investment.
