My family of five, inlcuding myself (MOM) & husband as well as 3 boys ages 14, 11, & 7 just returned home from our week long vacation at the Little Pink House. I would highly recommend this rental. It is a home away from home. Anything you need you will find at the home. Bring your own food & fire up the grill. We hired a charter boat to take us fishing and returned and cooked the fish we caught for a lovely meal. I very much enjoyed my morning coffee every morning sitting in the peace on the screened in porch area. The breeze was just spendid. The beach was beautiful. Laguna Beach is most definately more family friendly area as well. Thank u Chuck for the memories we created in the week our family spent at the little Pink House. My 32nd bday will be forever remembered there.

Never having stayed at PCB or rented this type of lodging, we weren't sure just what to expect really, but we did arrive with some preconceived notions. Everything we could have hoped this experience to be was what we were fortunate to find......and then some. We came in hopes of finding rest and relaxation and we were allowed that in spades. The neighborhood is quiet and offers a sense of friendliness and security. Chuck, the owner, has done a fantastic job of providing for every possible need at the house, and has made it warm, cozy and inviting. He has made it practically impossible not to feel at home there. Most of our time was spent on the beach or at the house and we did only minimal sightseeing and went out few times, but what a great area ! The Carousel grocery has a great wine selection, Salty Sue's has daily lunch specials and of course, the donuts at Thomas Donuts are out of this world. There is plenty to do if that is what you're looking for and yet it is quiet and restful if that is what you need. We are already looking forward to having the opportunity to stay at 210 Laureno again, as soon as we possibly can. We highly recommend Chuck's place to everyone and have done so to family members and friends. Thanks Chuck

We absolutely loved our stay at the little pink house! We have a three year old and he loved having his own room like a big boy. The walk to the beach was an easy five minute walk. The neighborhood this house is located in is very quiet. The beaches were very uncrowded, and I know some of that is due to the time of year we visited. Thomas Donuts is just around the corner and I highly recommend eating there! The Key Lime donuts are delish! It's an easy drive to get to the main attractions such as Pier Park. Walking out on the pier was so much fun, we saw dolphins and sting rays. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and Chuck, the owner, was great to deal with. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Well where to start.. the place was comfortable and I did enjoy the porch. Having the washer and dryer was a great convenience! Loved that! I have stayed at many houses on Laguna beach but I have to say I never had so many problems. I am glad my husband did not go because his tolerance isn't as good as mine. First off, the house smelled like sewage for the first couple of days. My son was nauseated and he was begging me to stay at a motel. I called the owner but nothing came out of it. The smell got a little better but sort of came and went. Almost every morning it filled the air in the house. Some maintenance people were building a fence and we were woken up to nail guns a few mornings early. I felt that was pretty disrespectful to be doing when people are paying rent, but what could I do. We also heard some profanities. Once again, I am very glad my husband didn't go because no way would he have tolerated that smell or the nails guns!

Owner response: I wish that all of my guests could have the perfect vacation experience, but that is not always possible. As soon as I was informed of the problem I called my maintenance man to investigate. When he was unable to help I called a plumber. Both professionals advised me that the problem resulted from the recent record-breaking rainfall (22 inches in 3 days) and many places in the Panama City area were having plumbing problems. Regarding the nail gun, I was not notified until the guests last day. I called the contractor and asked him to start work later, but it was too late to help.

Had a wonderful time in Florida as I always do. Due to excessive rain, prior to my arrival, had some plumbing issues, but the owner was right on top of them as best he could. The house did exactly what I expected it to...it provided a place to sleep and cook some meals while I enjoyed the Florida Gulf Coast! A decent place on a tight budget. Would probably stay again. Oh yea, Thomas' Donuts are VERY good!

We came down during thunder beach 2013, there were a total of 5 of us and we absolutely loved staying at this house. It had everything we could want and or need. I definitely recommend staying in this house, it's far enough off the main strip where you can relax but close enough that you can get to it withing a few minutes. The owner Chuck, made sure that everything was ready and checked on us before our trip. He was very accommodating and nice. Thank you chuck! We will be staying in your house again :)

This little home was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed, was clean, and the owner was very helpful with all our questions. During our stay we enjoyed Laguna Beach, which was a 5 minute walk from the home. The beach was quiet and private without a lot of tourists. The location of the home was terrific; it was only a few minutes from Panama City so when we wanted to do "tourist" activities we could do that easily. We went to St. Andrews State Park where we swam and snorkeled. It was a beautiful day there and was very family friendly. We ate a Pineapple Willys, which was really good although a little pricey as one would expect. We went to Ripleys Believe it or Not on our last day because it was raining but we were a little disappointed. We waited in line over an hour for the 3-D ride but we finally gave up and left. Thankfully we could use the tickets the next day so we arrived as soon as they opened and were able to ride within 10 minutes. Our kids favorite thing was Thomas Donut Shop which featured Key Lime Donuts and was very delicious.

There were 5 adults in our group (one in a wheelchair) and we had plenty of room. The rooms were large and even the bathroom was big enough for maneuverng the wheelchair (although not handicap equipped). Our favorite part of the house was the screened porch (for reading, drinking coffee and conversing). The kitchen was well equipped and we were glad we had the grill right outside the back door. The beds were very comfortable. The best part was the convenience to the quiet beach, Thomas Donuts, the Carousel grocery/gift shop/liquor store and Pier Park Mall! Chuck, thanks for sharing your beach home with us!

Loved the pink house, Chuck was really great when we had to call him (a couple of times) and resolved the problems ASAP that day. The house was very clean and well taked care of. The only down side of the house was no central AC, the bathroom got really HOT when you took a shower. This was our first stay in the Laguna Beach area but will not be our last. We loved the private beach and we only got in the crowds when we wanted too. I would go to St. Andrews Park at least one day of your stay, if walk down from the beach area there are great shells to be found. Pirate ship cruse is a must of you have younger kids.

This was such a great experience! We were only a block and a half from the beach, and everyone in Laguna Beach was so nice! Although we were expecting a lot of rain, we only had rain twice. The first storm lasted long enough to order lunch at Subway. By the time we were finished eating, it was gone. The second rain storm started at 3:30 and only lasted about 2 hours or so. All other rain storms were just south of us. We got to watch it while sitting on our nice sunny beach. Not only was that great for us, but we also saw full double rainbows! Chuck is so kind, and was very attentive. We are already talking about our trip next year. We recommend Sandpiper, Carousel (get your kids snorkel from the gift shop for only $8.49- and WAY cheaper than Winn Dixie), Thomas Donuts (key Lime donut- YUM!!!!), Water Planet to swim with dolphins, Pahnhandle for helicopter rides, and PCB Parasailing. Make sure you get a net for sea shell searching in the water, but most shells you can find just up the beach. There were not too many people on our beach, unless the Church Camps were in full force. We even saw a small wedding! We were so sad to leave, and for the first time I cried coming home. I cannot say enough about how awesome this was for our family. There was never a moment that was wasted

                  Owner info

                  Year Purchased: 2012

About the owner: I am a high school principal in rural Tennessee. I was raised in Kentucky, but I fell in love with the beach at 12 years old when my parents took the family on vacation in Pensacola. I moved to Florida at 19, but only stayed a few years before relocating to New Orleans where I was a deep-sea diver in the offshore oilfields. At 28 I moved to rural Tennessee where I love to do almost anything outdoors. I love to golf, hunt, fish, and hike the woods.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
I decided to buy in Laguna Beach because of the dedicated beach and the charm of the neighborhood. There is no development on the beach. The beach is open and uncrowded. My home is incredibly convenient to the hustle and bustle of Panama City Beach with loads of fun activities and great restaurants, but at the end of the day when I vacation I want to be able to get away from the crowd.

The Unique Benefits at this House:
It is really great to be so close to the beach. It is easily walkable in 5 minutes if you just want to stroll down to take in the splendor of a sunset. Yet you can get in your car and be at the Pier Park shopping center in five minutes, or at The Holiday Golf Course in less than 10 minutes. Frank Brown Park, a recreation complex which hosts several athletic events and community activities is less than 10 minutes away. I love being able to walk to Thomas Donuts first thing in the morning. It is only 2 and a half blocks away, and they make fresh home-made donuts daily. The apple fritters are incredible! Grab one, walk back to the house and sit on the porch with a cup of coffee.
