A large group of runners and supporters from the Kalamazoo area enjoyed the lodge for the Memorial Day weekend. It was plenty roomy and worked out great for our group. We cooked dinners and took advantage of the large dining/family room area. We swam in the lake, even though it was a little chilly, and had a great bonfire our last night there. Would love to return again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We are an extended family of 18 staying at the Luxury Chalet with 10 children. We all had a great time using the pontoon boat fishing and just riding around. Lake Leelanau is beautiful and mostly clear and very long! The house is exactly as pictured in the advertisements, clean and beautiful with all the amenities you want. Lots of room for eating and a big enough kitchen for 5 or 6 cooks at a time!!! The only disappointment was no sand on the beach for the littlest ones. The shore is rocky, thus the water shoes, but once in the lake it was clear and wonderful swimming and trampoling(?) The deck was great for sitting and reading for us older ones. We would definitely recommend coming here to our friends and others. Very relaxing.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

One of the best vacation homes I've been to. We were 18 people and the house was very spacious! The view from the chalet was breathtaking!! The neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing, and the people were very nice. The owners were very friendly. I loved the stay and I would definitely plan another trip.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.
