  The Screened Inn was a perfectly decorated and well stocked beach cottage! We had never been to Tybee so didn't know much about locations, but this was perfect for us--our 3 boys loved the park and went daily to play baseball and soccer. The trek to the beach was pretty easy (we are used to staying on a beach, but had alot of fun biking this time on the tree lined streets). We also loved being close to the lighthouse, the tour was neat! We will definitely be back!

  We had a great time at the Mess Hall. We expect to be at the Mess Hall on our next visit. The area was very quiet and convenient to the beach. Thank you.

  The Enlisted Men's Mess Hall exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect for getting to the beach. The cottage was so beautifully done to show the history of the time period. The pet friendliness was super as well. Dutch loved being able to run in one door out the other and make a return trip after a run in the yard. My friend and I were so pleased with our stay. The Mermaids were so easy to work with. The first cottage I had made a reservation became unavailable and I was give an up-grade to Enlisted Men's Mess Hall. I am so glad the first one was not available. Love Love Love this cottage and planning another trip.

  We recognized the Screened Inn long before we arrived, and Tybee Island soon became our friend. Quirky vintage echoes of Grandmother's house, the lake cabin growing up, our 1930s first married home - all there at the Screened Inn. Finding the magical path to the sea, the bird sanctuary beyond the jetties, the Jamaican grill, and the lovely lighthouse illuminating our walks home, the angel in the window with the peace sign at the neighbor's, hopping onto the bike path 'round the park - all "ahh" moments. And the main thing was the screened porch....It was just what we were looking for, and found. Thank you, Mermaids!

  Just loved the Screened Inn on Tybee Island. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated and we felt at home immediately. We really liked the location, it was quiet at night and a short walk from the beach, the lighthouse and of course our favorite hangout...The North Beach Bar & Grill. Can't wait to come back!

  Cottage was totally charming . . . authentic period piece with lots of vintage touches; it worked perfectly for our party of four adults and three kids under 5.5 years old. Photos convey some of the charm, but it's even better in person. Location was wonderful for us . . . quiet and close to the beach. One word of warning: do NOT try to rent it during Spring Break . . . my wife thinks SHE should get it then in perpetuity.

  My husband and I just loved that quaint cottage. It was beyond our expectations as it was so clean and had everything we needed. We are already planning to return.

  We were delighted with the Men's Mess Hall. The accommodations were wonderful, pleasant, and had a relaxing calm about it. We had wonderful family time which was really important at this time in our lives as our 2 children will soon be going separate directions. We're already talking about a "reunion" in 2 years and my husband and I would like to plan a get away just for the 2 of us next year.

  Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. I had just gotten home for a visit from afghanistan and was able to take my mom on a girls vacation. We both loved it and look forward to future stays. Keep up the good work!!
