Our home on the island of Nantucket is located in the Tom Nevers East area. We are one mile form the village of Sconset, off Milestone Road, and approx. seven miles from the town of Nantucket.
Our upstairs is an open-concept space with a kitchen/dining, and living room area. It receives lovely sunlight, and is spacious.
There is a balcony off the living area that faces east, creating an opportunity for those who enjoy breathtakingly beautiful sunrises,
becoming shaded as the day progresses creating a space that is refreshingly cool in the afternoon hours.
Our bedrooms are spacious as well, sunlit, and are comfortably decorated.
Our surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, with private roads in which to walk, jog, and ride bicycles. And in addition, a tennis court with privileges included in our rental conveniently located across the street.
The closest beach is located one mile away.
The Tom Nevers East area of the island is connected to wonderful biking paths as well, taking you almost into town, or the quaint little picturesque village of Sconset.
The town of Nantucket and surrounding areas offer some of the very best and (romantic) restaurants in New England, wonderful
museums and the clothing and gift shops uniquely Nantucket. There are walking tours, van tours, and bus tours to take advantage of. But the
best deal of all is a taxi bus called "The Wave" that stops at the end of Chuck Hollow road close to our home and will take
you anywhere you wish to go on the island, every hour on the hour until 10pm at night / seven days a week.
