Trickey Pond - Virtual Lakefront Home Without Lakefront Rent
- Minimum stay:N/A
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:No
Virtual Lakefront - This beautiful, contemporary home is located directly across the street from Trickey Pond with right of way access. Trickey Pond is famous for its incredibly clean water, with great fishing and boating (no jet skis please). Renters have use of our canoe and kayaks.
Sit on the second floor covered porch and enjoy the views and fresh breeze off the pond. At night, get a blaze going in the open fire pit and roast marshmellows.
Lake Sebago is very close with its great boating and resort scene if you like things a little less peaceful. In the winter, skiing is close by at Shawnee Peak (with night skiing), or drive about 45 minutes to Sunday River. Trickey Pond is also at the crossroads of some of Maine's best snowmobiling trails.
The house is in pristine condition, and fully equipped for your vacation. The master bedroom is on the third level, with its own bath. The second level has a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a full bath. The first level has a game room with a poker table and bar on one side, and a TV room with a futon on the other side (A great place to let the kiddies retreat). There is a half bath on this level.
The newly remodeled kitchen is fully equipped for cooking real meals, or just heating up take-out.

My family and I could not have been happier with our vacation rental on Trickey Pond. The house was not only immaculate, it was also very roomy and contained all of the amenities of home. It is ideally located overlooking Trickey pond which is the purest body of water I have ever had the pleasure of swimming. The home is easily accessible to a wide variety of restaurants and quaint shops and sightseeing. The landlord was very supportive and a pleasure to deal with. The internet photos and description were exact in every detail. It truly made for a memorable week. My family and I intend to be regular vacationers at this very special home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had the distinct pleasure and absolute joy in staying at this home for 10 blissful days. And let me state without any reservation or urging that this was the finest home and experience we have had in the state of Maine for years. The house was immaculate and tastefully decorated with every known modern convenience. Trickey Pond itself is spring fed and is cool and refreshing to swim in as the other side of the pillow. Every morning I would swim across the lake to the soul pleasing serenade of loons. And each day relax in a house that wrapped its arms around you like an old friend. The neighbors are something out of an old Andy Griffth Mayberry Television show. Our host were there when we needed them and gave us professionalism and grace throughout the process. If you desire a vacation rental where the objective is getting a taste of heaven you have found a home. In closing family friendly with all the toys to make each little one or teenager feel personally welcomed and entertained. The worst part about our time at Trickey Pond was leaving. Opps!!! Before I forget bring a fishing pole, swimming trunks and enough room in your heart to add several new friends.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
