Great home, everything you'd ever need and more. Just a few steps to to the beach, outside shower to wash the sand from your feet, and another outside shower with hot & cold water too. Big deck (had our coffee & breakfast out there every morning) , beach chairs and an umbrella. Got a little windy our last week so couldn't keep umbrella in the sand, but enjoyed the deck which has a beautiful view & usually a nice breeze as well. Loved having the Kooky Coconut within a very short walk, & you have to try their ice cream & cuban sandwiches, so so yummy & very friendly staff. Nice eating area outside as well. Another favorite just a short distance was Keegan's Bar & Grill. Grouper cheek sandwich was to die for! As you can probably tell, we were thrilled with the house as well as the area and the beach. Would stay again here in a heart beat! What a beautiful place. The house is fantastic, the view is awesome, and the owner has thought of everything! We will definitely be back and I would encourage any of my family and friends to stay here. We are two couples with two pets (small dogs), and we took the chance to book our first Florida vacation on-line. The experience was great. The homeowner (Ed) was very accessible via email or phone. The home itself is just as it shows in the photos. The location is great for walking or driving to nearby restaurants or local stores. The views of the Gulf were amazing, especially at Sunset. The entire Beach Trail area was very comfortable; the neighbors were all very friendly (and dog friendly). The evenings in the area were very quiet and safe for walking at night. We loved it there, and would recommend it for families with a small child or two couples. Looking forward to a longer stay next year!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, pet owners.

I am Stella the dog and I came here with Jim and Patti. I'm enjoying my stay very much--there are really interesting smells in the back yard that are much different from those in my own back yard. I really enjoy sprawling on the deck in the sun. Next door there is a dog on the balcony with whom I've exchanged words. Jim and I walked on the beach the first day here and some fellow warned us, "there is a fine for dogs on the beach" and I have not gone back since. I see lots of people on the beach walking by but now dogs--I think they may be looking for their dogs. We have been here almost 2 weeks now and have enjoyed every day. The house is charming and equipt with anything we could want. It is peaceful and beautiful here - what a wonderful view! Great View. You immediately want to follow the little sand path to the sea! The decorating and all the little touches are so pleasant and helpful and idyllic weather in the 80's. We had a wonderful vacation. It was even more beautiful than pictured. The house was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. I have to say I have never seen any rental as stocked as this one. That includes all the rooms. The bedrooms had everything you needed and more as well as the bathrooms. The kitchen had more than you would ever imagine. Any time we thought we would have to go out to get something we opened a drawer or cabinet and there it was. I could be on here forever listing the supplies and items of comfort that were in this home. (just a few...any kitchen item, binoculars for watching dolphins or boats, games, books, linens, towels, etc. on and on.) As advertised you are literally steps from the beach. It is gorgeous. We have tons of pictures of the beautiful sunsets. I would definitely recommend this home for your vacation rental.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The web site does not do the cottage justice - furnishings, amenities, setting and maintenance are all 10 times nicer. Beautiful, maintained jungle foliage in the front yard, which I enjoyed sitting on the front deck as our dogs safely explored each morning thanks to the fully fenced yard. The deck facing the fulf is sublime, a/c ice cold, recliner leather sofa and chair were especially comfortable with electric controls, and the antique furnishings mixed with modern touches were beautiful, user friendly and so much nicer than a standard rental. This is my second year at 812 Beach Trail and it was wonderful. The sunsets are beautiful, and if you are lucky, you will see dolphins swimming by. This beach house is a wonderful little gem. The sand is so beautiful and we took many long walks along the beach--early morning, and late night strolls with the moon shining brightly. Plus I gathered many perfect shells to bring home as a reminder of our time at Indian Rocks Beach (love the name). The deck is perfect--some space for shade and sun. Brand new outside furniture. The a/c in the house is great although we didn't use it all the time--the breeze from the ocean comes right into the house with the sliding doors wide open. Great location--lots of super neat restaurents, Publix is nearby, as well drug stores, shops you name it. Very clean, and it was so handy to have the laundry room inside. I plan to come back next year and I've told all my friends about it. Two friends are planning their vacation and are going to rent it next year. Everyone in the area is so friendly. It's easy to meet people when your out walking your dog as many people do. This is an excellent properly--there are sand dunes, sea oats and many long grasses. So quiet and relaxing for lazy days reading, cards, napping and just doing nothing at all but enjoying your time by the sea. Simply it's "the best".Did you find this review helpful? Our family has come to Indian Rocks Beach for over 15 years. We have loved every minute of our vacations. We have stayed here at 812 the last 5 years and have truly enjoyed all our minutes on the beach. Sunsets on the deck, the ocean and sand and the sun make it magical.
