We spent spring break week there, couldn't have been better. Beautifully furnished condo and peaceful beach. Heated pool was an added bonus. This was our 2nd time at Summerlin - quite and very well maintained.

We enjoyed our stay in this unit for the month of October. The weather was gorgeous, sunshine everyday , just perfect. Also was this unit, furnished very nice and had everything you needed away from home. The beach was not crowded this time of the year, and no waiting at any of the restaurants on the island and in Destin, which is just a few minutes away. What a great vacation and hope to return next year at the Summerlin. I would recommend this condo to anyone who is looking for a great get away place.

Our recent stay at this unit was great.The unit was just like it was picture on the photos. It was very clean and roomy just like being at home. I would recommend it to my friends and relatives. Had great views from the balcomy. Will come back again.

Love, love, love this entire property. We have considered the larger properties with all the extra's but we figure we go to the beach to see the beach and this is by far the best spot on Okaloosa. It's like having your own personal little beach. The property is right on the water and the parking is perfect. We have stayed in Destin as well, but not since we discovered The Summerlin. Have stayed in a 1st floor unit, but our 3rd floor stay through Buz went much smoother and we received our deposit back timely which we appreciated. The decor is very appealing and comfortable. Nice extra windows with having a corner unit. Have already recommended unit to 2 relatives. Looking forward to another stay.

Thank you for another fine condo rental for our annual New Years Eve trip to Okaloosa Island. This is our 4th time renting from Buz Embry, and each time the experience gets better. This is our first time renting Summerlin #305 and it is by far the best condo we have rented. From its at home feel to King size beds in both rooms this condo is in a class by itself. We plan on renting from Buz for many years to come and hopefully renting Summerlin #305 every year. See you in December!

We took our 1-year old son on his first vacation and stayed in this condo. It was amazing! We had the best time. The decor of the condo was beautiful, not to mention the view of the white sand and emerald water. We hope to make this our annual family vacation destination! We've stayed in Destin before, but this condo/location is by far the best!

We stayed at the condo in April of 2007. It was wonderful. We felt like we were at home. The beds were great and the view was awesome. We saw dolphins every day from our balcony. We loved everything about our stay. We are planning to come back next year.

Aug 11-18 This was our second year at the Summerlin #305 and it was heavenly. We all had such a wonderful time! The weather was picture perfect and we sat out on the balcony and watched the dolphin swimming by every morning!! Truly paradise and the best condo.

Comment Text: What a nice Condo! Minutes after arriving we felt like beeing home! Nice furniture, a well equipped kitchen, stereo/VCR/TVs/DVD-player/internetaccess/washer/dryer/bikes/beachequipment - all our expectations had been fulfilled! The booking process was easy, friendly and professionel! We had a great time in Ft. Walton beach and hope to get back in 2007. We have been vacationing on Ookaloosa Island for several years and have stayed at 4 different Condos at the Summerlin. #305 was by far the nicest!. We flew down this time in October to watch the Fishing Rodeo and found all the things we usually carry down in the truck that couldn't be packed were in the Condo for our use. The Beach Towels, Beach Bag, and chairs were a nice touch, as were the bikes. Our best experience with the Embry's came when we couldn't get the key out of the lockbox after many tiring hours on a plane. One phone call and our Unit was unlocked within 1/2 hour (at 8PM no less), just enough time for us to head to Publix and load up on Key Lime Pie and Kalik. We hope to rebook sometime this summer, and will look no further than Summerlin #305. Thanks for a great place!! The Krauses

From the minute we walked through the door we felt right at home. The owners have thought of everything and by doing so made us feel that we were truly welcome. We are grateful that they are willing to share their little piece of paradise with us. We had a wonderful two weeks with great weather and some of the most beautiful sunsets. Comment Text: My two sisters and I stayed in Summerlin #305 two weeks ago. My sister from Kirksville made the arrangements after she and I had looked at many online offerings. I can't say enough good things about the condo. All that you can read in the other comments are true. It is not only beautiful and comfortable, it was spotlessly clean, and we three are very picky about that. The bed was so comfortable that we checked the brand so that we can try to find one. We never even felt the other one turn in the night. Another important thing that we appreciated was that the condo was so quiet. Although a young couple with two children came the last two days we were there, we couldn't hear the children through the walls. It was a blissful retreat. We would recommend it with literally no reservations. Thanks for such a beautiful vacation.

We truly enjoyed our stay at your condo this year! This is our 7th visit to Ft. Walton and this is by far the best condo we have stayed in. We enjoyed staying here so much last summer that we decided to come back again this year. The condo is beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. With two small children we loved the smaller size of this complex because of the convience to the beach and the pool. The covered parking spot right by the elevator and stairs was great also! 06/10 - 06/17/2006 Thank you for a wonderful relaxing vacation. My grandchildren, ages 9 & 5, and I played in the gulf and swam in the gulfside pool. The beach was very well maintained and quiet and the sand was very clean. My mother and I particularly enjoyed long early morning and sunset walks on the beach with the breeze blowing in our faces. My grandchildren and I also collected shells, dolphin watched, and "crabbed" at night. Very nice, friendly people on the beach. Your condo is very tastefully decorated and the layout is great. We especially enjoyed the nice kitchen with the large island area. We have never had beach towels and beach accessories provided for us. That was so thoughtful!! The management service, VROM, were so helpful and courteous. My deposit was returned promptly. We will certainly book with you again! Thanks, again!!

We spent the week of May 6-13 at this condo with another couple and had a great time. The king beds in both bedrooms was the key point for us. This is a PERFECT getaway place. Wake up to the sound of the waves from your bedroom! This condo has everything you could possibly need- a Huge balcony, internet, beautiful decor, and a swimming pool! The building is just the right size so noise is at a minimum and the pool is not overcrowded with kids :) I would highly recommend this condo. Kim

What a lovely way to escape the northern winter blues. We awoke each morning to the sounds of the surf. The rooms were very well done and all our needs were met or exceeded. Even the occasional rainy day could not dampen our spirits. Would highly recommend this condo for a perfect respite.

Friends in Knoxville could not believe we would vacation on the Gulf Coast during such an active hurricane season, especially so soon after Katrina...Now that our vacation is ending we could not have made a better choice weather wise. It has been perfect! The intereior of your condo is so tastefully decorated. The art work- finishings- floor plan and your WONDERFUL beds! Your beds are a plus not usually found in a rental condo.

My daughter actually booked the condo and was generous enough to allow me, her mother, to accompany her. What a beautiful condo you have and we appreciate that you shared it with us. It is so professionally decorated, but in a comfortable and inviting way. In equipping the condo, it seems you thought of absolutely everything. My own home is not as well equipped. It was wonderful to be able to see both the sunrise and the sonset from that same balcony. I hope that I will be able to visit your lovely condo again with my husband. What an incredible vacation! We have been visiting this area every fall for at least 15 years. Without a doubt, this condo wins the #1 spot in our hearts for being so well decorated; so unbelievably well-stocked with towels, linens, cooking utensils, etc.; so refreshingly clean, and topped off with a wonderful, spacious balcony from which we viewed both the sunrise and the sunset! It was all just perfect! This vacation to Ft. Walton was preceded by a business trip to the Bahamas. The "paradise vacation" was not the Bahamas, it was right here at Summerlin! What a beautiful place! We live less than 4 hours from here, so this is definitely at the top of our list to come next fall! If you visit once, you will see why we visit year after year.

Thank you for allowing us to enjoy the beach from your beautiful condo. WE visit FWB and Navarre every year at this time and this is the nicest most comfortable condo we have stayed in and despite the hurricane damage to the area it has been one of the most gorgeous weeks vacation ever! We found tons of sea shells and saw things at the beach we do not normally see ie. Larger than usual hermit crabs with sea anemones on their shells and a puffer fish! Of course we saw the dolphins everyday and the rays a couple of times. The girls enjoyed the pelicans and sea gulls as always. The weather was great and everything was perfect, even without the pool. Thanks again for everything and we hope to visit again one year! Tara, Alexis, Kaeli Karpinski and Tuffy Fondren from TX and Ok. PS the only suggestion is to put the address on the fridge with the phone number so you know where to have pizza delivered.
