Stayed hear 4th of July week. Very convenient, owner was extremely east to work with and stayed connected. Kids had a great time and the usually difficult decision of going to the pool or beach was easy - do both. Had a great time hear and would recommend to others. Enjoyed opening the windows and listening to the waves. Well worth the price.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

My wife, two children (ages 4 and 2.5), and I stayed here and had a great time. The location was perfect. There is easy access to the 5 freeway with short drives to SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo to the south and Legoland and the Carlsbad Premium Outlets to the north. Best yet, it is just a short walk to the beach with great surf. The condo is newly remodeled with a great entertainment system, full-sized kitchen (a must for a family) and 3 bedrooms, all upstairs. There is a gym and 3 pools on the premises, two of which overlook the ocean. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was also a huge plus. We could have never left the complex and still had a great time. This was our best family vacation yet and couldn't imagine a better place to stay!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: Me and my wife love to be outside and active, and the beach of course. I grew up near Riverside, CA, and am a Californa boy. I have undergraduate degrees from Claremont McKenna College, UC Berkely and an MBA from UCLA. I have lived in LA, SF, London, Cape Town, and Phoenix. My wife is a South African from Cape Town. She is a doctor and complete Medical School at Univ. of Cape Town and did her residency at USC, fellowship at UCSD. We are avid travelers and have been to a number of places. Over the last few we have visited, Greece, India, Italy, London, Bali, South Africa, New Zealand, Tahiti, and Hawaii.
