Welcome to our seaside retreat. Cozy bachelor cottage for two, fully self-contained with private parking, fridge, stove, microwave, washer/dryer, BBQ on private deck overlooking gardens. Steps away from the beach where you will relax and cozy up to your campfire in your own private firepit, or put your supplied robes on and stroll down to the hot tub on the beach. Fully equipped kitchen if you feel like cooking your own meal, or venture out within 10 minutes to major restaurants, shopping, golf or fishing. At the end of the day, enjoy a restful and quiet sleep on our deluxe queen size posturpedic mattress. Full bathroom with large stand up shower.

We had a great time staying in the hosts' studio apartment which is at the same location as the cottage and has been converted into its own unit from the main house - beautiful stone fireplace, kitchenette, plenty of space, spotting scope, your own deck, amazing view, awesome tub, etc. We had s'mores at the fire pit and soaked in the hot tub - both terrific. Suzi even left us snacks and breakfast goodies! I literally saw porpoises while sitting on the kind-sized bed. I would highly recommend this VRBO listing!Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a very good time at this location. The cottage is very nicely furnished and spotless. Rob and Suzi are very welcoming and helpful.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We were the first to stay at this great little place. What a find!!!! Perfect for a romantic getaway or a place to rest and relax after a great island day. Just minutes from town yet nice and quiet. We will definetly be back. Maybe to take in some of those great island storms. See you guys really soon. Can't wait to see what the new deck looks like.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities.

About the owner: Welcome to our seaside retreat located directly across from Mitlenatch Island. Your hosts are Rob and Suzi Jack, and we have been living in the Campbell River area since 2000. We both love the outdoors, fishing, diving, skiing, motorcycling, gardening and watching the sea life at our front door step.
Why the Owner Chose Campbell River:
We fell in love with this one acre beachfront property instantly. It offered the waterfront location that we were looking for, while still being within 10 minutes of downtown. We have the quiet and privacy we enjoy in our own home, as well, the cottage, after we totally updated it, is perfect for the traveler looking for a seaside getaway. We also love being on the water, and have a boat we use for fishing, and touring around the many Islands this area has to offer.

If you are looking for a cozy getaway on the ocean, this is the place. You can have a romantic fire on the beach, enjoy a glass of wine in the hot tub, located beach side, or simply take a stroll along the beach and take in the local bird and marine life.
