  My wife and I had a great experience during our 5 day stay. Paty, our host, picked us up at the airport and returned us at the end of our stay. The apartment was spacious and as advertised. Paty and her family live right upstairs and she was available to help in many ways. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The location was very good. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. The main square was a 10-15 minute walk. We felt very safe in the location and would definitely stay here again.

  I have been meaning to post my review for ages. Finally got time to do it. We stayed at Patricia's apartment for three weeks. Patricia and her family could not have been more helpful from meeting us at the airport to taking us back at the end of our stay. Patricia took us to the local markets, gave us cookery lessons, arranged for an English speaking doctor to make a home visit when my daughter got tonsillitis, and even going to the pharmacy to collect the prescription. Cusco is a unique city to visit, and I would not hesitate in recommending you stay in Patricia's apartment. The apartment itself was very secure and had good hot water, cable TV and WI FI internet.The full kitchen and lounge was a real bonus for saving money by cooking and eating in. but most important was the warm welcome we received from Patricia and her family.

  Our family of two parents and two children ages 12 and 9 enjoyed this terrific apartment for four nights around our Inca Trail trek in December/January 2013. The hospitality of the owner and the convenience and comfort of the apartment helped make our stay in Cusco the best part of our travels in Peru. The owner and her family demonstrated genuine concern for our welfare and happy visit. There is plenty of space across the three bedrooms, living area, and kitchen. Each of us could sleep late in the mornings according to our needs. Several markets and restaurants were convenient in one to five minute walks. Picturesque San Blas neighborhood was five minutes in one direction walking, Plaza de Armas was ten to twelve minutes in another direction walking, and well stocked supermarkets and local outdoor markets twelve minutes in yet another direction walking. The owner and her family were most gracious providing airport transportation and meals/snacks and advice that made sure we found some highlights of Cusco including museums, restaurants, hilltops, and ruins, etc., in a too-short visit. We must come back for a longer visit! What an incredible city and what a great apartment that we can recommend to families, language students, singles or couples benefiting to get out of the typical rotation of hotels and B&Bs and the accompanying tourist trades that are quite costly for this region of Peru. We found this apartment to be a welcoming, safe, and comfortable home environment. We are experienced travelers and users of VRBO and other accommodations in several countries of europe, south america, and central america, and this apartment in Cusco is now among our favorites. The earlier positive reviews of this apartment from other visitors and travelers were accurate and helpful.

  I would surely recommend this appartment to anyone who is thinking about renting something in Cusco. The family is friendly, always ready to help when you need some information about the city and the food they had prepared for us was typically Peruvian and really good. The bedrooms are private, very clean and have nice, warm sheets. The appartment is at walkingdistance from the Plaza de Armas and lays in a beautiful and safe neighbourhood.

  A friend and I from Belgium stayed for a month with the family in a nice appartment. They lived upstairs, but if we wanted a meal the mother of the family would always make food for us. The bedroom was perfect, with a lot of sheets, which are really important at night in Cusco. The family is friendly and open. The food was good. And it´s really close to the centre, you only need a 5 minute walk. If you need some information, they´ll help you with it.

  I stayed in this home during my volunteer trip in Cusco and every time I think going back to Peru I would not think of any better place to stay. The day I arrived I was exhausted from coming from NYC, but their meal and tour around the city made it a memorable trip since day one. The apartment is beautiful and the area is totally convenient. It is walking distance from plaza de armas (the most beautiful place ever) and it's totally safe to walk in the neighborhood at any time. It is quite funny how to most of my volunteer friends, I was the one who had the best place to stay. Many of them barely had any privacy when I had my own comfy bedroom with a great view, and a hot shower (something absolutely valuable when it's winter there). My friends were always jealous because I was always well rested and could shower any day regardless of the cold. The family made me feel at home. They were always kind and very helpful when I needed places to exchange my money, shopping, and even to run errands. Everyday each meal and each conversation was a discovery about a culture that I am now fascinated about. I did stay in hotels when I traveled to other cities, but the humane relationship we established in the house is something that is nowhere to be found elsewhere. As I stayed in their place, I noticed how so many travelers who stayed with them always kept in contact and many of them continued to go back to cusco with them. I am one of those New Yorkers, who feel that one visit is enough, and there must be other places to see, but Cusco is the remarkable exception. I can't wait to go back to such incredible city. Towards the end of my stay I had seen so much of Cusco, and yet I felt it needed more. That's the type of experience you get. During my last day I took the whole family for lunch at one of the best restaurants in the area as a display of gratitude. Back home I feel that there's a home where I belong in a city that stole my heart. I got there alone, and I came back with a new family. I sincerely recommend this place to world travelers. You will have no regrets.

  I stayed with this family for three weeks, and I can honestly say that my trip to Peru would have been worse without them. The apartment is in an ideal place in Cusco--just a short walk to the main plaza and an even shorter walk to a smaller, but also fantastic, plaza. The location is also in a very safe part of town. The rooms are comfortable and most offer a nice view of the surrounding mountains. The family itself is amazing: eager to help, knowledgeable, kind, and patient with those whose Spanish is less-than-perfect. I was incredibly sad to leave these people and I promise that staying with them will enrich your Cusco experience one million times over.

  I advice to anyone who wants to stay in this apartment because is very nice, very clean and its close to "Plaza de Armas".They have a lovely family and they are very friendly. I stayed in Cusco for 3 days and my experience in this city was awesome.
