About the owner: We are owners in Grande Isle. Our primarily residence is in Missouri, splitting time between Chesterfield, MO and Lake of the Ozarks. We work in the Financial Services field. We enjoy travel, food & wine, boating, family (we became grandparents March 2012!).
Why the Owner Chose Burnt Store Marina:
After looking in FL for some time, we decided the #1 feature was 'the view.' Unless we could find The View that we wanted to own, we could rent a lot of places. We also love to boat so water access was important. We found the view at Grande Isle in Burnt Store Marina. It truly changes our behavior...dinner whether we go out or prepare it at home, begins AFTER watching the evening sunset.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Certainly the condo is beautiful inside and out and our Association Board members have done an exceptional job of maintaining the property.. What makes the living there even more special are the people who live there. It can be awkward to feel like a strangers. During the season there is a Thirsty Thursday function in the social room. Bring your beverage of choice and an appetizer to share, and meet fellow owners and renters. People will immediately become friendly, familar faces as you recognize them at the pool, in the gym, in the breezeway, and taking walks around the marina. It is enjoyable to begin each day by walking marina circular sidewalk to view the manatees in the marina basins.
