Well located along a beautiful white sand beach offering a fabulous view of the Mou'aroa peaks, this house is ideal for couples, families or friends travelling together.
The Fare Upu is situated in the north of Moorea Island, in the Opunohu Bay. This wooden fare (house) of Polynesian architecture has an inside roof made of pandanus leaves and walls covered with braided niau leaves.
Couples, families or friends traveling together will appreciate the equipment and location of this convivial house.
You will enjoy breakfast on the terrace facing the lagoon or taking a canoe to discover the aqua marine life.
The Fare Upu is ideally located along a beautiful white sand beach offering a fabulous view of the Mou'aroa peaks.
The Opunohu was used as filming location for many films such as 'The Bounty' in 1983.

My family spent 2 wonderful weeks at Fare Upu. What an incredible place. We practically lived on the back porch. The bungalow was incredible. Most nights we slept with windows opened, listening to the ocean all night. Not airconditioned, but a very Tahitian style house with fans and mosquito nets. House was very comfortable, right on the water, beautiful. Lots of new and interesting sights, flowers, plants and great snorkeling. Everyone is friendly, helpful and spoke English.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
