Only a quarter mile down a scenic gravel road, lined with a barn, a log cabin, and three mountain homes, you will venture into a hidden mixture of lake views, major sized water wheel, mountain views and finally s magnificent unparalleled views of the Chattahoochee River from what is best described as a luxurious mountain cabin.
From wrap around covered porches which include two screened in areas, to the open kitchen w/marble bar and seating area, the ultimate in convenience is available for your use with a state of the art kitchen with all Stainless Steel appliances.
Step out on the back deck with your coffee after breakfast or dinner and listen to the sounds of the falling water from the river. or walk down to the small sandy beach area for swimming or taking your turn in the inflatable canoe or tubin' in the Hooch, or just swimming.
You will not run out of ways to sit back and relax or if you want you can entertain at the gazebo and deck jutting out over the river. Pull up a lounge chair and sit on the deck for the afternoon or build a fire in the wood burning fireplace in the main room or in the out side fire pit or a campfire by the gazebo.
There is no shortage of outdoor activities available including hosrse back riding, hiking, golf, biking, fishing and more.
State of the art Direct TV system is available in all rooms with HD DVR included. Internet access with computer is available.

Camp Skeeter is a unique opportunity for children that want a camping experience and still be in the immediate vicinity of their parent’s watchful eye. I can accommodate two children at a time. I supply tent, sleeping bags, insect repellent, first aid kit and all other appropriate camping gear.
Breakfast and dinner will be served. The menu will be simple such as hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans for dinner and eggs and bacon for breakfast. Any special dietary needs should be supplied.
I will teach basic camping skills including how to prepare a camp site, put up a tent, collect wood and build a fire. I have camped and enjoyed the great outdoors my whole life. I have shared my experiences and taught my own children how to camp, and I am so very excited to teach your children the same.
If only one night is desired, I will break camp the next day around 11:00. All appropriate liability waivers will be required. Rain or shine, games and hikes can still be going on, no refunds. If a child is not comfortable sleeping out, they may join their parents in the house, but no refunds will be credited to your account.
