Our charming cottage overlooks the Big Laurel River, located 30 miles north of Asheville and 5 minutes from historical Hot Springs, NC. Relax in a private setting, watch fly fisherman, hikers, paddlers and nature lovers hike by on the 3.5 mile trail along the Laurel River canyon which opens up to the French Broad River.
The area offers a multitude of outdoor activites. Hot Springs is located at the junction of the famous Appalachian Trail and the French Broad River in a valley surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains and Pisgah National Forest. Enjoy hiking, fishing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, mountain biking and healing mineral springs. Or simply relax on the front porch with a good book and soak in the serenity of the Laurel River!

About the owner: Our family has a passion for outdoor adventure and travel. We were fortunate enough to move to the Asheville area 5 years ago for my husband's residential building business. It's a place we now call home. We spend all our free time hiking, mountain biking, camping, and simply enjoying life in the Blue Ridge Mountains with our daugther Claire and dog Murhpy. Come enjoy all we love to do at the Riverbend Cottage. We promise, you will not want to leave!

We rented the Riverbend Cottage ourselves for many years and fell in love with the area. Located only 30 miles north of Asheville, NC where we reside, our cottage is very easy to get too yet a world away. We are thrilled to be the new owners and continue to share this very special place with others!
