What a joy our stay in HO83 was last July. It is a fabulous house and so well outfitted that it was pure pleasure to find anything one might "need" already at hand. I think its exceptionally large and comfortable common room was a real plus, since everyone could be together yet be able to do his own thing if desired...with the two large dining tables and three sofas, and the many books and puzzles and games. Our little ones explored every deck and nook and cranny...and there were lots of those! I loved the well-equipped kitchen where I could be involved with what was going on in the common room as I cooked. And it was great having the two master bedrooms on the top floor along with the kitchen and common room so that my husband and I could zip into our bedroom to retrieve something without needing to go up and down stairs. Our daughter and her two little ones had the other upstairs master and she found that very convenient as well, especially as they were drifting off to sleep since she could step over and check that all was well. Our son and his two twelve-year-olds were downstairs in the twin-bedded rooms which the boys liked a lot because they could be private and watch their own TV and such, away from the grown-ups in the common room upstairs. I might also mention how tastefully the house was decorated, which, when put together with the various ocean views from every room, helped to make our stay a memorable one. I can certainly recommend this comfortable home...with all its amenities.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

In July we stayed at here for one week. The layout of the house was perfect for my family. My two kids each had a room to themselves downstairs and my in-laws and my husband and I had our own rooms upstairs. The house was clean and well set up for meals, games and watching TV/movies. Even though we were not on the beach we had a view of the ocean from the upstairs. We could easily hear the waves with the doors open...one my favorite things about staying at the beach. The location is perfect, we made day trips to Carmel, Monterey and Santa Cruz and when we didn't want to venture out there are places that deliver to Pajaro Dunes. The owner was very helpful and made all of our arrangements effortless. I would highly recommend this property and we will definitely stay again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
