Our family of 8 adults and 4 small children could not be more pleased with our weekend stay at Just In Thyme. The listing was described accurately, the photos were right on, location was so convenient to the beach and to Seaside, the property was well maintained and more than enough amenities. The owner was really helpful and even let us stay a couple of hours past check out. We loved the place so much, we will definitely rent again!!

I spent a week at Just in Thyme with 9 friends and family members in Oct 2011 and had a wonderful stay. The house is very spacious, never felt crowded, even when watching movies together. We cooked dinner in more than we went out and were pleased that the kitchen was generously furnished. The balconies were wonderful to enjoy the gulf views while reading or visiting with friends. Very easy walk to both beach and Seaside.

Enjoyed our 3rd year at Just in Thyme with our family of 10 adults and 2 babies. A perfect very accomodating large home, we walk to Seaside or ride our bikes and the beach access is just across the street. We also walk to the Seagrove Market for delicious lunch and dinner! Publix is also very close at Watercolor which makes grocery shopping handy! We love the ammenity of the ice machine also. Thank you for sharing your home with us again!

Perfect house, perfect location, perfect family vacation! This has been our best "family vacation" ever! Everything inside and outside of the house was just as described and maybe even better! Plenty of room for everyone ( we had a group of 20) to sleep, play, eat and we didn't even have to wait for the bathroom...awesome! Our family made many precious memories! So much so, we plan to come back again! Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality :)

Our family just had a wonderful time at this house. There were plenty of bedrooms and baths for a large amt of people. We were so close to the beach ...across the street and down the steps and just a minute or two to Seaside. We felt like we had our private beach. It was a wonderful location. The kitchen was well appointed. The pool needed cleaning but we had prompt service. The porches were wonderful for early morning coffee and just reading and visiting. Thank you for a great vacation.

We had a great time staying at Just in Thyme. The location was perfect and we really enjoyed the house. There was enough space for all 13 of us - and there was space to spare! We all loved the pool and the wrap-around porches. The pack n play's were nice too since we have a little toddler and it saved us from having to pack one. The baby gates were helpful too. The house was perfectly situated just a couple of blocks east of Seaside - and a couple of blocks west of one of my favorite spots on 30-A, The Seagrove Market Cafe - all of the food there is great! We biked to Rosemary to the east and ran to Grayton Beach and beyond to the west. Next time we have a group that large, we will definitley stay here again!

Wonderful location and perfect for a large group (we had 4 families)! A VERY short walk to the beach and easy stroll to Seaside. Very clean, well laid out home, nice outdoor spaces, well stocked with everything we needed and more! One note, the photos show a baby crib, the crib is no longer there but there was a pack-n-play. The owner was super to work with and made reserving the home easy.

We loved this house and you will too! It is very nicely furnished with all the amenities, especially the kitchen. The bedrooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The main floor is perfect for a large group centered around the kitchen, dining room, and living room, which are also nicely furnished. Having an open kitchen wall with an eating bar/stools between the dining room is very helpful. An added feature is the top floor den and entertainment area which gives an option of privacy and a smaller group, say for the kids to split off to play. The wrap around balconies are great and provide a reasonable view of the water, especially on the second level. Very clean, great floor plan, easy access to the beach and a short walk to town. Our first time in Seaside and we LOVED it...so much to do and the beaches are gorgeous. Demetrios was extremely gracious and tended to our every question and request promptly. Made us feel like his quests!

Fun In Seaside

Perfect house for a large group of adults or families. We had 11 tennis players and the house was perfect. We could all dine together and hangout together in the large living and dining area. We enjoyed drinks by the pool and on the porches. We rode bikes all over Seaside and it was a 50 yard walk to the beach. Perfect!!!!

this review is way too late in coming.......we had a wonderful time in october with most of our family. the house is just beautiful and has everything you need.....we had 16 and had plenty of room for all of us.....so much flexibility...you have a choice of being by yourself or gathering with the whole crowd. enjoyed the private pool and easy walk to beach and to seaside....wonderful porches..nice for breakfast. we all had the best time.....and the owners could not be any nicer.... also the weather is still great in october......not so crowded, either...... thanks for sharing, the allens

I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our week's stay at Just in Thyme. We used the occasion of our son's wedding to have a family reunion. It was perfect! Our week in Seagrove was the closest thing to paradise. "Just in Thyme" was the perfect spot for our family to spend the week together. Our numbers varied during the week but at our maximum of ten adults and six children we always felt the house accommodated all our needs and never felt crowded. The wonderful porches gave us views of the gulf from many angles and the children enjoyed the pool after each day at the beach. The house is so comfortable and homey with enough room to spread out and let everyone do what they wanted. There were plenty of chairs for our meals and the kitchen was a delight to cook in. The baths are large and roomy and everyone loved having their own. The kids bath was right outside their bunk room which was great. The drive way was great for taking care of as many as four cars and all our bikes. We loved the fact that we were literally only steps away from the sand and gulf. It was perfect!!! Seaside was just a quick stroll away as well. We loved every minute of our week in this lovely home and hope to come back next year!!!

Our 3rd annual family beach stay was perfect this year because of this terrific home. This is the first time we have had enough places to park, eat, sleep and talk in comfort! The close proximity to Seaside and the super close beach access was wonderful. We had a fabulous time in this beautiful house just a few steps from the beach. It was perfect for our annual Beachapelli gathering, we had so much fun hanging out on the beach, by the pool, doing yoga and watching sunsets from the breezy 3d floor deck. Everyone in our group would love to rent this place again. Demetrios really went out of his way to make our stay pleasant (and a day early!) Our extended family selected Just in Thyme for our business meeting in Oct. The home was perfect for the married couples(4) as well as the singles(6). The kitchen was perfect for the large group. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful home for enjoying our family and the beach. The house is perfect for large groups. We had 7 children and 6 adults and lots of left over space. All the adult couples had their own bedroom and bath and so did the grandchildren. I loved the master suite..it was nice a quiet when I needed and escape. The porches add so much space for the kids and adults. The house is well equipped for both children and adults and so close to the beach and seaside. We were able to walk to seaside for the night musicals and plays. The kitchen was the best equipped of any rental unit I have ever had and the home is so well maintained. We hope to use the house again for creating more lasting memories with our grandchildren and children.

House was incredible/perfect for our crew of 13. We had shrimp night and lasagna night at THIS house with my 2 brothers/their kids and grandkids and my sister's family because our house was the best equiped to handle that large of group. This was a great week of vacation for the 20 of us. We all loved the location and made many trips to the beach and to Seaside. The house was so nice and there were places for all of us to sleep. ( loved the master bedroom and bath) On Friday night we made a huge pot of shrimp gumbo and afterwards all the family gathered to give thanks to our Lord, Jesus for the great weather, nice place to stay and for His protection during the week. What a great house! Perfect location - able to walk to Modica's in Seaside every morning for coffee and couldn't be much closer to the beach! What a week! We had a family vacation with 15 adults/teenagers/babies and everyone had a great time. The location was excellent with the beach access only yards away and Seaside right next door. Plenty of space for get togethers but also for privacy. We hung at the pool, the beach, the kitchen, the multiple decks, et al. The house was amazing! Even more than the pictures could capture. Perfect location and all the things you could ever need on vacation. We loved walking and biking to Seaside and in Seagrove. Close to great restaurants and grocery stores. The view was breathtaking and there was plenty of space to have private moments as well as family meetings. The pool was so fun and the shower downstairs was very convenient. All rooms in the house are gorgeous. We loved the house and can't wait to come back!

Just in Thyme was the PERFECT house for a family reunion! A short walk to the shops and restaurants at Seaside kept the adults and teens happy. The proximity to the beach was perfect for going back and forth with chairs and toys and little ones. The house is roomy and has places to gather with everyone, and plenty of porches to escape and curl up with a good book while enjoying ocean breezes. I think we want to make this a regular vacation spot!

Just in Thyme was recommended by a dear friend and co-worker who had stayed with you all. She couldn't have provided a better description when she said the home and location was simply lovely. A step back in "thyme". The view and accomadations fit my family of 20 just perfect. There was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was equipped nicely for our chef's. The pool was great to have in the evenings while barbequing. The children just loved it as did the adults. "Just In Thyme" was perfect for our family reunion. The house accommodated 21 of us with ease. Its nice added feature was having a bathroom with every bedroom. The house was VERY clean and was an easy walk to Seaside, the grocery store, playgrounds, and one block off the beach. The heated pool in the back was a fun bonus for 8 of our kids played and splashed around every day. Our family had such a great stay we are planning another reunion in 2 years. The owner was also a great help in making our stay very comfortable. Thanks for letting us use your beautiful home!

We had a wonderful week at your spacious, comfortable house. Our whole family, including kids and grandkids, truly had a memorable time. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and do their own thing. The kitchen (and whole house) was certainly well-supplied with everything needed to take care of our group. Demetrios and Barbara, We thouroughly enjoyed our stay in your beautiful (and large) house. We had a large group (2 families, 7 children) and were more than comfortable. The well stocked kitchen and other amenities made it feel like home...only nicer :). As for the vacation, we rented bikes and spent our mornings cruising around Seagrove, Seaside, Grayton beach, and even Rosemary beach! The bike paths, gardens, lake, and playground kept us busy and provided great opportunities for fun and pictures. We spent the afternoons at the beach, and thanks to the convenient location of the beach access, we had no trouble getting our crew and our gear to and from the beach. Again, we had a great time and didn't want to leave! We hope to rent your house again in the future.

We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your home on Thyme St. during spring break. Our group consisted of 14, ranging in ages 3 to 80 years old. We ate most of our meals at your home and found your very well stocked kitchen perfect for accomodating a large group. This house was unbelievably nice. Every detail was thought of including enough pans to cook multiple different gourmet meals. The layout of the house was very conducive to large gatherings. Seaside is quaint and easily within walking distance. Highly recommend Shades restaurant for breakfast. We will definitely be back to this great house with gorgeous views of the Gulf.
