We enjoyed a wonderful week in this cottage last summer and will be returning again this year. The house is very much as described - literally steps from the beach with a huge deck offering beautiful views and sunsets. The owner is very thorough and thoughtful and has been a pleasure to deal with. Looking forward to our return visit.

About the owner: My sister and I are the third generation in our family to own this house on Lake Michigan. It is a very special place to us. I live in Colorado and work in the ski industry, but love to get back to Michigan whenever possible.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Located on a private road with a private beach, this is a spectacularly peaceful setting. Being adjacent to the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore provides not only amazing views, but an unspoiled big lake experience. Miles of uninterrupted hiking on the beach is a memorable part of any visit. The Point Betsie lighthouse is a good hiking destination. I particularly enjoy riding my road bike around the northwest corner of the state. It is a first class cycling experience.
