Sip on a warm cup of coffee in the cool early morning fog. Relax on the porch swing while the mountains wake up around you. Enjoy the spacious deck with Hightower Creek babbling lazily below. On the main floor is the nicely equipped kitchen, living room, bedroom and full bath. The bedroom boasts a comfortable queen sized bed. On the downstairs level you'll find another full bath shared by two separate bedrooms. One bedroom featuring a king sized bed,the other a queen sized bed and a roll-away twin sized cot.Plenty of comfort for everyone in your party.The lower level has a private entrance. Through the many windows, all the rooms in the cottage are kissed by sunlight at different times of day.
Our location makes it easy to enjoy solitude or the many attractions Hiawassee and surrounding towns have to offer, such as the Georgia Mountain Fair. Many concerts featuring a variety of music genres are held at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. Local shops offer some interesting finds. Hand crafted items and antiques are among the favorites. In the fall nature puts on a show all it's own with the majestic beauty of the changing leaves.
With Lake Chatuge being just about a 10 minute drive away you'll have all the water fun a vacation could ask for.

We Enjoyed Our stay Very Much, my Nieces Got to See A little bit of Snow for the 1st time in their lives. Everyone Was Very Nice and We Enjoyed meeting All the people at the little Church down the road ( UpperLevel Baptist Church ) Jerry And Debbie Hamilton were So Nice to my nieces, they still talk about our visit there..The House was Great , everything was Clean and Neat !!!!! We definately would Reccomend Talking to Adelle, she was Very Helpful in Everything !!!! We,re Looking Foreward to Stayingin that area Again in the Near Future !!!!!! We went to the Park Several times and the Kids Loved It !!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

I have been there hundreds of times. It truly is a wonderful place to be alone with that special person in your life or enjoy your family. I have stayed here several times. I can say it is wonderful. Starting with enjoying my morning coffee on the porch then heading into town to eat, shop, and mess around. Love heading up the Mt. to shop in all the great stores they have up there. I like the fact we can bring our own food and goods so If we want just to take a break we can. Nothing to do or something to do everyday. Try it you will like it.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: I grew up in Hiawassee, one of 10 children. My love for the mountains comes from the years of my childhood, we played all over the mountains all up and down the creek banks my brothers, sisters cousins and I. Times were different back then but the blackberries still grow, the creeks still flow and the mountains still stand proud and free. When you look above you see the tree tops reaching toward the heavens while the mountains are nestled between the clouds. Every time I return home I am reminded of the carefree days of my childhood while I enjoy the clean, cool , crisp air I feel my body re-energize and my soul refresh. This perfection can only come from God and I am so thankful to have a little bit of this perfection in my life.
Why the Owner Chose Hiawassee:
This property is in the heart of where I grew up, my family in the surrounding area. I enjoy the closeness of my family. For so many years this property spent more time empty than occupied. Just like everyone else I spend more time working. It gives me great pleasure to offer others the ability to enjoy the serenity and peace I have been blessed with by owning Arrowood Cove.
