Located in Lahaina which translates in the Hawaiian language to 'the land of Merciless Sun'. This upscale property has recently been completely updated and has added on additional square footage to the rear of unit which is used for living space during the day and convertible to a third bedroom at night. The unit also has three full bathrooms. This vacation paradise features a partial ocean view from the front lanai, kitchen and 2nd floor bedroom. A world class beach with one of the best surf breaks on the island is just a few steps from the front door. Enjoy the sound of the surf while relaxing in our paradise home away from home. The large kitchen is fully equipped including a Kuerig single cup coffee maker to brew up some of the delicious local 'Kona Coffee'. This two story 1248 square foot townhome has two master suites upstairs with queen beds and two full baths and has recently been updated July 2012 with beautiful Mohawk 'Tiger Wood' laminate wood floors. The bed Linens are new 700 count luxury sets and bathroom towel sets are new designer quality 100% Cotton. The third full 'Beach bathroom ' is downstairs right inside the front door with a spacious shower area and washer Dryer. The living room has two couches one which converts to a sofa sleeper couch. The sofa sleeper couch can be closed off with a bamboo slider curtain to convert to a third small bedroom with a Led 1080P TV & Blue Ray Player. The living area features a 60' LED 3D 1080P television with a Blue Ray player with internet apps to watch & Stream your favorite movies in stunning high def 1080P from video sources Netflix and Apple TV. Basic high definition cable is also in the unit. Enjoy the music of your apple device on the stereo system featuring a Yamaha receiver and Bose 301 speakers equipped with Apple Dock. Both master suites also have HD TV's as well with Blue Ray players with internet apps. The townhouse is also equipped with a central split duct less air conditioning system with three separate thermostats one for each bedroom and one for the downstairs living area. The front lanai area has comfortable seating for four to relax and listen to the sound of the ocean. The private back lanai is perfect for a family BBQ with a table for six and two brand new grills as of April 2012. The grill master has a choice between a Brinkmann professional charcoal grill or a Brinkmann elite gas grill with sear burner. This townhouse is also equipped with lightning fast high speed internet with WIFI that is 15M down by 1M UP and has a HP LaserJet multifunction printer. You will truly enjoy your Maui vacation in this upscale unit. Puamana is a private gated community on 30 acres of lush tropical gardens, open spaces and beachfront. The property has 3 Pools to relax and catch some rays. The stunning Ocean Pool is located the edge of the ocean where you can relax and sun while the ocean breeze and waves splash and mist keep you cool. This Pool is a quiet Pool for adults only. There is a also a pool for children that has no noise restrictions. The third Pool is located by front gate. The property also includes a gym with brand new cardio equipment. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful townhome. Everything was great. The beach is perfect for surfing or just relaxing. We even got to see a monk seal sun on the beach one day! The walk into Lahaina is nice in the morning and close enough to walk for dinner and shopping. The property manager is very attentive. We had one small issue and with a quick phone call everything was taken care of right away. The townhome is spotless with all high end amenities from the bedding to the TV's. It is even better than the pictures show. I would and have suggested staying here to many friends and family. I would suggest staying here to anyone reading this review. Thanks again and hope to be back soon.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This condo was fantastic! The day we arrived there was a gift basket waiting for us with some delicious snacks and a well put together manual of the condo and Puamanas amennities. We've stayed in another condo in Puamana before and we couldn't believe all the nice touches the owners have put into this one. The TV's were all top of the line with blueray players for each one (Not that you watch a lot of TV when you're in Maui but we had two small boys with us and it was a necessity in the evenings). The kitchen was stocked with top of the line equipment and there were 2 amazing BBQ's on the back lanai which was a huge bonus for my husband who loves cooking. The furniture was beautiful and comfortable and the entire condo was newly renovated, spacious and clean. We were in Maui for a family wedding and many of our family members were staying in other condos in Puamana. We had a chance to see all the other condos that were being rented and 177-1 was by far the nicest and for the same price or lower than the rest. This was our 5th trip to Maui and we love Puamana for it's location and great beach. On our next trip we will definitely try to book this condo again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Maui. I also want to mention that the owners and property managers of this condo were fantastic to deal with. Thanks you for the great vacation!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The condo was fabulous! Everything was perfect and clean. The beds were nice, the towels were new, furniture, TV, appliances etc. were in great condition. One of the nicest places we have stayed. We enjoyed every minute at the condo. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The townhouse was very comfortable, but a little too close to the road. We missed being able to keep the window open at night because it was too noisy. Everything we could have wanted or needed was provided, my husband loved the big screen tv, and the welcome basket was a very nice touch. Puamana is a such a great location and we could see whales from the pool.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.

This Puamana rental was perfect for our family of 4. We spent the mornings drinking coffee in the rising sun on the lanai followed with beach time on the private (never had more then 12 people on it) beach less then a minute from the front door. Downtown front street Lahaina is a short 15 minute walk or bike ride. We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities that came with this modern condo, I would recommend this condo and the location of Puamana to anyone wanting to stay on the west side of Maui.Did you find this review helpful? Our stay was amazing and we were all so pleased with the condo and location. We especially appreciated having the chairs, snorkel gear and all the towels. We just spent the most wonderful vacation on Maui at this Private Gated Puamana community! We stayed in 177-1!. We had a beautiful 2 BR 3BA ocean view ground floor condo. The view was incredible! 177-1 was a spacious beautiful 2 bedroom 3 bathroom luxurious unit. The condo was decked out with HD TV's, blue ray players, suround sound, crazy fast internet, decorated with upscale artwork and furniture! There were nice comfy padded chairs and tables for the front and back lanai's. There was a great beach for swimming, snorkeling (turtles), and body surfing, there was a nice tennis court and pool near our unit; In addition to the beautiful landscaping. It was located just a brief walk to many quaint lil shops and restaurants. Overall 177-1 Puamana iwas a PERFECT experience and I would recommend this unit as a great place to spend your vacation on Maui! I will be back next summer!
