About: Aloha! We are a family of three from Port Hardy, BC Canada. Port Hardy is a remote town on the northern tip of Vancouver Island. I am originally from Portland, Oregon but moved to BC in 2000 when we married. My husband, Monty, is native to BC but spent many winters with his family holidaying in Lahaina. His family actually stayed at The Maui Islander, which is now Aina Nalu! We purchased our first condo (unit #369002) in May 2010 and our this one in 2012, with the hopes that someday we will be able to live in Lahaina 5 - 6 months out of the year. Right now we are able to spend about 2 months a year…and they are always a wonderful 2 months! Our daughter, Emily, can't get enough of the pools and the nearby beaches. We hope you enjoy our home away from home and take advantage of all that the area has to offer.
Why Aina Nalu: As a child my husband and his family stayed here when it was The Maui Islander. Once they were renovated, a family friend purchased a condo at Aina Nalu. We visited for a couple of weeks and fell in love with the salt water pool, the grounds, the family friendly environment and the convenient location.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: Aina Nalu has so many wonderful qualities. The location is amazing, you really don't need a car because you can walk to anything you want or need. It is located 2 blocks from the main street in Lahaina (Front Street). This is where most of the shops, restaurants & bars are located. There are beaches you can walk to within minutes (our favourite beach now that we have a small daughter is baby beach). Literally anything you need is in walking distance…grocery store, theatre, church, hardware stores….and great sunsets! We also love that Aina Nalu has 2 pools, one is a beautiful saline pool surrounded by grass, and there are two BBQ areas. The exterior has the old Lahaina feel and the interior has an updated comfortable feeling. Aina Nalu has a family friendly, relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your holidays!
