This attractive Georgian mansion is set in forty acres of woodland and overlooking the river. It is ideally located for exploring the many attractions of picturesque County Kerry. The present house was constructed in the mid 18thC, but was preceded by a mid 17thC castle 2 storey, referred to as a “short” castle. A century later the remaining walls were incorporated into the Georgian edifice now standing, forming the hallway.

The mansion underwent extensive alteration in 1830 and today this beautiful house has been further restored.

We stayed in this house on a family vacation a few years ago. This house is great. The property has intricate gardens as well as trails that guide you down to the nearby river. Close to a grocery store as well as within walking distance to an authentic Irish pub. I would recommend this property to any group looking for a place to stay in this area.
