This home is beautiful and very clean. I highly recommend staying at this property when visiting. Furthermore, its proximity to the ocean makes this a desirable vacation rental. This has been our favorite vacation rental and we look forward to returning soon. Also, the rental agent with whom we worked was courteous, helpful, and organized. We stayed here for one week in late November. First, thanks to the owners for being dog-friendly, without which we wouldn't have been there. We liked the location in a very nice quiet neighborhood. The home is of high quality construction with like high quality finish-out, systems (e.g. climate control), furnishings, decor, linens, towels, etc. The king bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. Everything was great and accurately captured in the listing photos. The property was very clean and well-maintained. The outdoor space was smartly designed for the small lot. Due to weather we didn't get to use it much but even just gazing at it through the large picture windows throughout the house was enjoyable. About the only thing we missed was not having an outdoor gas grill. The property manager, Colin, was very responsive and easy to work with. We would certainly rent here again and highly recommend it to others.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We have stayed in numerous places in Carmel and must stay this is the nicest! The property was at least as nice as discribed and pictured. Also was very clean and completly updated with marble counter tops, appliances and bathrooms. Loved the heated bathroom floors! Spent evenings on the front patio it next to the fireplace watching the waves roll in. Also can se e the ocean from the living area! This property has it all! Ocean view, seconds to the beach and a short walk to Carmel shops. The house is charming and homely with all the amenities you would expect from an exclusive vacation rental.We enjoyed a 2 week vacation and found it outstanding value.This property is also perfect for either the romantic weekend or an extended stay.We will certainly be returning and have our 2012 booking already made! Superb location with exceptional views and access to the ocean. Two wonderful beaches within paces of the property. Delightful walk into the center of Carmel and all the shops and restaurants on offer. Short drives to a large selection of golf courses, wine tasting opportunities, hikes. Luxury accommodation with excellent equipment and furnishings. About: My wife and I have visited Carmel, both for business and with our family, for 30 years. We finally decided to buy this wonderful house. We love the area, with its consistently warm- but not hot- temperatures and the magnificent Pacific Ocean so close.

There's nothing like getting up in the morning and heading out for a walk on the beach or down Scenic Avenue. We often head towards Ocean Avenue, then up the road to one of the many coffee shops. The day can unfold from there!
