This efficiency is located next to the Executive Keys condos on access 1A. It's a short walk to the beach, convenience store 2 mins from the door, beach store even closer. We booked over the Labor day weekend and were very pleased with the accomodations. The room was clean (although it did smell a little of cigars when we first arrived, but that could easily have been from our neighbors) equipped with everything we needed for the 4 days. The only issue was the sound bleed from the adjoining room that came through the interior door that joins the 2 apartments and if you have noisy neighbors that like to stand outside their apt and smoke - you will hear it. But noisy neighbors aside on a holiday weekend - we were very pleased with the rental and won't hesitate to book here again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This was a great condo for two people. The place was clean and well stocked. The Murphy bed was comfortable and plenty big for two. The living area and kitchen are large enough to move around without stepping on each other, even with the bed down. The art and decor make the place feel like a home instead of a motel. Outside, the common area in the courtyard offers a neatly manicured lawn with a large, very clean, pool. There are several covered picnic tables with heavy steel, park style, charcoal grills which were clean and ready to use. They even had grill brushes hanging on chains for a final scrub when the coals were ready and trash bins are handy to clean up after your party. There are four wash stations on the property to wash the sand off your feet and beach gear before you get back to the condo. This location is within walking distance to the beach and far enough away from town to stay clear of the rowdy traffic. There is a protected area within the city beach confines or there is an open beach nearby to park your vehicle near the water. I would highy recommend this property to any couple looking for a comfy place to stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

This unit was a great place to stay! The decor was nice, very "beachy" with a comfortable sofa and chairs, and a spotlessly clean, full kitchen with just about everything, including dish soap, dishwasher powder, paper towels and dish cloth. The stove and dishwasher were "apartment size",and there were plenty of ice cube trays. The sleeping was a comfortable Murphy bed, which made the "studio" description not much of an issue at all. Even with the bed down there was room to move around. The bathroom was nice, with the sink & medicine chest separate from the tub & toilet. The TV channel selection was good & there was also a DVD player, Very fast, free WiFi & a telephone, even a current phone book, on-island calls are free. A small lending library was in the upstairs (pay) laundry area. The courtyard charcoal barbecue pits were great, under pergolas, well maintained with grill cleaning brushes attached & with picnic tables. The pool was sparkling clean, with a plenty of loungers, tables & chairs & a large pergola at one end. Beautiful lush landscaping. There is also a fish cleaning room, with (uncovered) barbecues & tables & a sport court area with basketball goals & a horseshoe pit. The housekeepers were very friendly, the unit was very very clean & we noticed the maintenance man working even on the weekend. Towels are replaced daily. The grounds were well maintained & there were 2 places to wash the sand off before heading in to the courtyard. All units face the courtyard. The complex is withing VERY easy walking distance to the beach. This unit is NOT handicap accessible, its on the 2nd floor of this 2 story complex. I would recommend this property to family and friends. One of the neat things about Port Aransas is being able to drive & park on the beach. Buy a parking permit from local stores, or even right on the beach. The local grocery store is small but with a great selection. There are also many neat little shops, check out " A Mano " for amazing imports from Mexico. The local restaurants have everything from hamburgers to fine dining, with many choices for fresh seafood.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.
