Bring your Boat and water toys ! Off street parking ,a place to clean FISH,and wash your boat !Our family has spent the last 5yrs coming to Cape Charles every other week end .It is a slower pace than the bigger beaches . We like to go boating and yes catch a fish for dinner?? Our kids and grand kids come for 2 weeks every year and would not miss a chance to visit more.We love the laid back community atmosphere where you see golf carts on the street .bicycles,walkers.And a beautiful sunset -You must visit to see what we see.

My family of four was delighted by our stay at this incredibly well-appointed cottage. The owners have attended to every need with just the right amount of coastal style to insure that you feel you have escaped. Our two children were thrilled with their very stylish rooms and the great selection of beach and play toys provided. My nine-year-old daughter bounced out of her roome saying, "This room was MADE for ME!" The owners have clearly made this a home that they themselves would want to rent. The appliances, cookware, linens and furniture are of great quality, which makes it easy to feel the love they have poured into Sandy Shores. It is often true that I spend a bit of time in a new rental just making sure it is safe and clean for the kids. It didn't even dawn on my to do this at Sandy Shores. It is clearly well maintained. The rate is very, very reasonable. The location is safe and neighborhood friendly. It is centrally located near great shops and restaurants. Our personal favorite is Rayfield's Pharmacy where the breakfast can't be beat. The house has very reliable wireless internet access and both I and my husband were able to conduct business calls, check email, etc. during our stay. In closing, we would never hesitate to return to Shandy Shores. The owners and property are fantstic!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
