This cabin is the perfect getaway vacation for the whole family! You're surrounded by the seclusion of the wilderness and lake, and the beauty of the smokies! But literally, only a few minutes away from Dollywood, pigeon forge, & Gatlinburg. With theme parks, museums, aquariums, zip lines, horseback riding, hiking, outlet shopping, musical dinner shows, and sight seeing, you'll never find yourself or the little ones bored! It's truely an area that keeps every age level in mind!
Smoke On The Water is a 2 bedroom / loft cabin located directly on Douglas Lake. Each bedroom has new KING size beds. There are 2 full baths with everything needed supplied. Also, there is a private community pool and club house within walking distance of the cabin. Located next to the pool is the boat ramp for an easy entrance into the lake. Smoke On The Water has its own private dock. Also, there are beautiful walking trails that line the lake. The cabin has a loft with 2 new futon sofas that will sleep 4. There is also the 'BEAR CAVE', an exclusive getaway for kids that's located above the loft, AND WAY FROM THE PARENTS!!
Smoke On The Water sleeps 8 ( up to 12 if you include the kids 'Bear Cave'). And every room has cable tv. Dvd player in living room.
The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with necessities such as paper towels, soap, storage containers, etc.
Deck has rockers for relaxing, swing, bbq grill, and hot tub.
And best yet everyone can enjoy the touch screen-table top multi game for hours of fun and tons of games!!!

The Weather was Beautiful! We went to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to several shows. My wife and I along with 4 grandchildren and a son-in-law stayed in this cabin. We were comfortable enough. We arrived the evening of November 17, 2012 and stayed to November 24, 2012. On the very first evening we watched a deer swim from one side of the lake to the other while standing on the deck enjoying the view. A couple of days later we saw 24 turkeys come out of the woods to the lakes edge for water. We also was confronted by a skunk one morning while going to the van. He ran off with no problem. We also got to experience a small 3.0 earthquake at 6:03 am on November 24, 2012. I will be returning to this area again when the lake is not drained down low. I will bring my boat.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
