Recently took my son on a graduation trip to Belize. We loved Ambergris Caye and this apartment. It was a perfect situation the apartment was a great price, within easy walking distance to town and our dive shop. Rosa & Joe were super great helping with logistics and such. The family that lives below and the fly-fisherman guide that lives next door were friendly and quiet. That was nice. We did NOT rent a golf cart and didn't need one. We walked to breakfast, lunch, and dinner easily and the walks actually essential to the relaxation factor. If you really want a laid-back afternoon, take the water taxi to Caye Caulker! Remember: this is not a luxury hotel. It's not meant to be. This is a clean, inexpensive, and quiet little apartment that made us feel local -- priceless! The hot water is hot and the air-conditioning is welcome. It is situated close to everything you need, but not too close. There are groceries close by - an easy walk to get this and that.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We had an amazing time from beginning to end! The best part of this spot is that it is located in the heart of San Pedro and right on the waterfront! It was easy to get around by foot, bike, and for the days we headed north...by golf cart. The suite was very clean and was more than enough space for the two of us! The suite has a great view of the water and the building has an awesome rooftop patio perfect for eating breakfast (fresh fruit and pastries from the neighbouring bakery) to the sun rising, or drinking Travellers Blackberry wine (Belize made) while the sun sets! If you're looking for a vacation spot on Ambergris Caye that immerses you in the local culture, but still provides you with North American conveniences and has great proximity to beach life than this is it!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay in your place, it was a great spot since it was close to everything but far enough away to be quiet. The only thing we missed was not having wifi to stay in touch better. We would look for your place again should we go there and would recommend it to others. Take care and thanks.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car.

Had a great time staying at the Apt. in San Pedro. San Pedro is wonderfully relaxing, with a lot to do (snorkeling, fishing, swimming, eating, etc) and the apartment was basic, but comfortable. Rosa and Joe were awesome, making us feel welcome and comfortable right away. Flew to the mainland, and went to Placencia for a couple of days. Stayed at Captain Lucky's cabins (recommended by owner), and had a great time there too. Would definitely recommend!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

My husband stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and loved every minute of it! Rosa helped us book our flights and golf cart (the island mode of transportation...you can also rent bikes or walk...but we wanted the full experience!). When we arrived in San Pedro, Rosa picked us up from the airport, showed us around town and got us settled (so helpful and easy!). During our 6 day stay we ate amazing (AMAZING!) food at the various restaurants near by (many ocean front...Ethel's by the Sea, Blue Water Grill, Fido's...you really can't go wrong!), walked the beautiful beach, did yoga (9am classes just north of town at Akbol...studio on a pier surrounded by ocean...WOW), swam (off the dock in front of the apartment...massage on the beach right there as well), went snorkeling at Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley (we booked through Chuck and Robbie's drive shop...walking distance from apartment...our guide Adolfo was awesome! They also do dive trips). If you are into fishing....you can go deep sea fishing and a restaurant will prepare your catch (ask Captain Robbie for details...he lives on the main floor of the apartment). San Pedro was the perfect spot for our honeymoon....super relaxing and so much fun! If you are into a little resort action....there are several resort locations north of town. We had lunch at one during our stay and took advantage of their pool and beach front. At the end of the day it was great to head back to our own private, clean, airconditioned apartment, enjoy a local beer at 'home' or head to a nearby restaurant for an amazing meal. I would definitely recommend this property!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

What an amazing spot in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye! I spent a week with a friend staying at the oceanfront apartment and loved every minute of it. The apartment itself had everything you need, was clean, and you could see it had recently been renovated. Joe and Rosa, who met us when we arrived were amazing and super helpful with getting acquainted with the island. Robby and his family who built the building and live on the main floor were also great. He's a well known local artist and champion fisherman. I can't wait to go back to Belize and definitely would reccomend this spot. If you want a unique vacation with beautiful sight seeing, friendly people, AWESOME FOOD, and lots of things to do than this is your spot. Everyone was super helpful and I can't wait to go back. ThanksRecommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
