  We had so much fun here! My Mom, dad and I enjoyed a run every morning, then we spent a lot of the day at the beach! On Easter, my dad (Kirby) and I went to church on the beach, that was really cool! Of course, we enjoyed the shopping! My Mom (Jaeq), Grandma and grandpa enjoyed Goatfeathers for their shrimp and oysters! My dad and I went to Grayton Beach and to Watercolor to go paddle boarding. The shopping was AWESOME! I got my prom dress and my Mom and Grandma bought a TON of things too! I really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub too! That was probably my favorite thing about this place! Thank you so much for letting us stay here, we really enjoyed it!

  Our stay here was AMAZING! We hit the beach every morning and loved it! We battled some bad sunburns the second day though so remember to reapply! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy the condo! The beach was beautiful although it was invaded by seaweed and algae for a couple of days. It was awesome sitting on the porch every morning and being able to enjoy such a lovely view! Thank you!   Oh my gosh! I love it here. Thank you sooo much for lettings us stay! This has been one of the best vacations ever. This is by far the best place to stay in all of Destin. Who cares if it rained alot?!? The view is amazing!!! The beach is soo pretty and the water is soooo clear!!! I love to hear the frogs at night! Thanks a billion! Taylor (PS- Miss Lucille's is a MUST do!)

  I'm not much for writing so I'll just summarize our amazing time into a few bullet points... -Storms- As amazing as the sum is, a good hard thunderstorm is incredible to watch from the beach as it rolls closer -Godfathers- Great stuff, and right down the street! -Key lime pie- It don't get better than that folks. -Panama City Beach- If ya got college kids, its only a 30 minute drive, and a good way to get your part on away from the rents.   This year we only really had two and a half days here. The first afternoon we spent searching for groceries (there's a Walmart) and unpacking. The night we went to the Silver Sands mall (Rockport sale, cha-ching!) and had dinner at Cheeseburger in paradise. That was a bit of a surprise: there were bamboo fences and fake palm trees coexisting with a wraparound set of plasma TVs. But the food was good, and we brought home leftovers. We got up the next morning to have breakfast on the patio and watch the sunrise which was fabulous. That day us kids hardly sat down once. There was a sandbar forming right in front of us, which was cool, and we splashed in and out of the water playing catch with the Frisbee, the football, and the volleyball. Numerous epic catches were made that morning, mostly with the Frisbee. Then we went in to have sandwiches for lunch and headed out again. The afternoon was more sedate, and Dad went to Godfathers down the street and brought us a seafood feast - shrimp, crab legs, potatoes, corn on the cob, and an enormous fillet of red snapper - which we duly cooked and accordingly and stuffed our faces with. The next day, which was our last, we spent lounging in the shade down on the beach and nursing sunburns from the previous day because there were jelly fish in the water. *Hint: Catch jellyfish with a net and bury them far away. *Hint: Go to the Smiling Fish Cafe and order calamari with extra chili sauce. *Hint: Don't use the toilet paper too fast. *Hint: Treasure every second of your time here - it goes by all too fast.   As usual, SantaRosa Beach is always beautiful. The San Remo condo was very nice with updated decor, but the cleanliness was not what we are use to. We personally clean the condo to our expectations. The property was well maintained.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

  The condo is beautiful and very comfortable to be in. It would be helpful to have a better stocked kitchen with regard to wine opener and a few condiments. While overall the condo is maintained well it would be nice to have cleaner floors throughout. In addition, it would be helpful feedback to the HOA regarding the odor in the gym and having difficulty working some of the common locks. I would definitely recommend the condo to friends and have done so. We will also be sure to be back. Thank you.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  Owner response: Thanks, Dawn, as you know I stopped in to be sure all was well and only wish I had known about the wine bottle opener! We keep several of them in all of the condos, but sometimes they go to the beach and never come back! We can't leave open condiments as they could spoil but we do leave a bottle of wine, coffee and a welcome gift. We will pass on your very important comments to the HOA - see you next year!

  This condo not only met but exceeded our expectations. Our group included my 2 young grandsons and due to our travel schedule, we were set to arrive around 2:00 AM. I was very apprehensive that we may have a problem getting into the condo because at that time of the morning with 2 little ones it would have been a total disaster. Nancy did a wonderful job assuring me that there would be no problems. Just as she promised, absolutely everything went perfectly. I had so many questions before we went and I pestered poor Nancy to death about every little detail. She replied to all email and answered every question. San Remo is a beautiful property and our top floor condo provided a great view of the beach and of the courtyard and pool. The condo was well equipped and we all loved it. We wanted to get away from the crowded Destin area and Santa Rosa Beach was just what we were hoping it would be. There were people along the beach but not even close to being crowded. We had heard a lot about Stinky's (restaurant right down the road) but wish we had saved our money. It didn't have much in the way of atmosphere and it was hot and stuffy the night we went. It was pricey but none of us thought it was worth it. We preferred the Local Catch which had very reasonable prices and even had live music. We are ready for our next trip and will definitely book through Nancy Fox and the San Remo will be our first choice.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
