  Our kids and grandkids and a couple of doggies came for the weekend for our annual family ski getaway. We were hoping for good ski conditions as March can be very spring like. Prior to our arrival the area had 12 inches of snow! So to say the least we had fabulous snow for skiing Friday and Saturday. It was 50 deg on Sat. and sunny so we had the ultimate in spring skiing conditions. It was fabulous. Enjoyed a good soak in the hot tub after a long day on the slopes. We enjoyed playing games in the evening with a nice fire in the fireplace. Sunday we just relaxed and made snow men in the front yard and just enjoyed the view and playing in the snow. The view of the lake is marvelous and the stone fireplace (wood provided) makes the place warm and cozy. My wife doesn't ski so she enjoyed a weekend of shopping and antiquing in Oakland and spending time with the grandkids. The house is very comfortable, clean and feels like home.

  The cabin was wonderful, plenty of room for all of us, great fireplace, nice private setting. I loved everything about the actual cabin. However, we had specifically searched for a "lake front" property, and the description and photos of this photo are very mis-leading in that regard. It would be more honest to label this as "lake view". To get to the lake, you have to go down an extremely steep and long driveway, and cross the major highway, and then walk down to the lake. Not exactly "lake front" at all. I'm not new to deep creek and have had to cross roads to get to the lake before, but this is an extreme hike, not do-able as a walk with lake gear and cooler etc. You have to drive to the bottom of the driveway, so if I have to get in my car to get to the lake, I don't consider this lake front. Besides that, the cabin really is great, so if you're not interested in the lake, except for to look at while you're in the hot tub or on the porch, then this will be perfect for you.

  We went up with some friends and family for my husbands birthday weekend. It was perfect, We had a great time sharing meals, taking hikes, and hanging out in the hot tub. It was a great place to get away, relax, and focus on family and friends. Comfortably sleeps 10 (as long as there are 4 couples), there are also some fun shops and places to go in town. The fireplace and hot tub were great!

  My recent stay was cut short due to Storm Sandy. In other words our stay was short but sweet. Owner very accomodating to our needs. Kitchen very well stocked, and the house is very clean. The porch swing and hot tub helped make our stay very relaxing.

  We had an amazing time here! There was 7 of us and 5 of our furry children? the dogs had a blast on all the hikes,the scenery was beautiful, and of course jumping off the dock. We mostly explored the local parks with the pups, and fished almost every night/day. but there were a few days we left the, behind. One day we went to wisp and rode the mountain coaster! And did the chair lift tour. We ended our week with a pontoon rental and explored the lake! It was an amazing weekend, and a great place to stay we will definatly be back, mady to enjoy some snow this time!

  We enjoyed our stay. In the mornings, sitting on the front porch, drinking coffee admiring the beautiful view of the lake. Laying on the private dock, listening to the radio and getting some sun. Swimming and jumping from the private dock was a hit for my kids. I enjoyed late evening fishing from the private dock. Excellent location if your a boat or jet ski owner. You are minutes away from arcades, minature golf and go cart tracks. After the long day at the lake, we relaxed in the hot tub. I do recommend Brenda's Pizza which is minutes away from the house. We definetly enjoyed our stay and will go back there in 2013.

  We enjoyed a great week at the Lake Front House. The house is a bit older but very well maintained and clean. We especially enjoyed the large covered porch with view of the lake, the fireplace, the grill and the fantastic hot tub. It's in a great location convenient to shops, grocery stores, and Brenda's Pizza and coffee shop are a short walk down the road. The fact that it is dog friendly is a huge bonus. It has a great private dock a short walk down the driveway and across the road for sunning, swimming and docking our rented jet skis. A great house at a fair price.

  My friends and I stayed at Our Lake Fronts home at Deep Creek Lake, MD. We had the best time of our lives! Though, there was a water leak in the basement when ever someone showered. We non the less... Had an amazing time and want to continue to go back to this same location to relive all the memories we made at this home! Only real complaint any of the 8 of us had... was walking back up the drive way. haha but thats not a real complaint. Its nice and private. The dock and home are located in the middle of all of your needs at Deep Creek.. It really was perfect. The hottub was amazinggggg!!!. The dock we lovely. Nice to have our own private dock rather than a shared dock. Like I said, we will certainly be returning!

  We planned on taking it day by day and do what ever we came across. which is what we did. sleeping in, enjoying mornings in hot tub before the day started. The house had plenty of info for local activities. We found the falls a nice day and got great pictures. We had the most fun at wisp resort. There haunted house was super! and the mountain coaster is a blast.We also checked out the Husky power.(Recommend for true dog lovers) What surprised us the most was how early some places close. If your looking for peaceful do as you wish time alone with putt putt,horse backing riding, shopping, dinning then deep creek is what you need. The owner of our lake front was always helpful with any questions and communicated great.

  Great time with great friends!!! We enjoyed our stay at your lake front home. Since the weather was a little rainy and chilly the first day, we enjoyed relaxing by the fire and watching a movie. It did not rain on Saturday; however, it was still a little chilly for September. We went out on the water on jet skis anyway and still had a great time. The home is very comfortable and has a very nice view of the lake. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The home was clean and cozy. Excellent pizza at Brenda's Pizza and good pumpkin hot chocolate at the coffee shop right down the road. We would recommend your place. We hope to return soon. Thank you.
