Sanctuaire is an oasis of privacy and tranquility designed to pamper you with its warm ambience, gorgeous landscaping, hot tub, and sauna. With lots of decking and a large, fenced garden, this is a retreat for true relaxation!
Inside, you'll find sleek leather furniture, bamboo floors, a cozy wood stove, cable TV, & wifi. The fully equipped kitchen is large and inviting, and includes a dishwasher. The dining area has views of the beautiful backyard.
The master bedroom is a peaceful retreat with French sliding doors leading to the back deck. The smaller second bedroom is cozy and cheerful with fir floors and lots of greenery out the window.
Behind the main house is a huge, beautiful studio, complete with sitting area, day bed with trundle, and a sauna.The day bed in the studio has gorgeous views of the garden and is the perfect place to relax.
The sauna also is situated in the studio in the back garden and can accommodate up to 6 people. Afterward, you can use the massage table in the studio or step outside into the hot tub! The 6-person hot tub is nestled in the ferns and wisteria with a lovely view of the garden.

My boyfriend and I spent a lovely weekend at Sanctuaire - the wisteria in the backyard was in full bloom, and we loved the backyard sauna, and access to all the great things nearby. We didn't even get a chance to test out the hot tub and grill. We ate all our meals outside in the private backyard in total relaxation. The town of Guerneville and Armstrong Redwood parks are awesome. The house itself has fantastic furnishings and decor, a nicely sized kitchen, and was very clean and well maintained. We loved it! Minor things we would have liked are slightly more staple kitchen items (e.g. cooking oil), and bathroom items (shampoo, conditioner). But all in all, a great time and a great value! Icing on the cake was that Star granted us a late check-out time, so we got to luxuriate until 3pm on Sunday before diving back into the "real world" and the week ahead.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.
