  A wonderful few days in Venice made doubly enjoyable by staying in the lovely Cozy San Basilio apartment. The apartment is ideal for a small family (3 adults and 2 children in our trip); the beds comfortable, the whole apartment spotless, and the kitchen properly equipped, they even supplied Wellingtons in case of high tides.. It is ideally located for exploring Venice, 200 yards from a Vaporetto stop and a ten to fifteen minute walk from both the centre and the train station. It is also a quiet residential area, the local bar and cafe a welcome respite from the crowds, and the supermarket round the corner very useful for shopping. I would wholeheartedly recommend Cosy San Basilio to anyone visiting Venice, especially any family with young children.

  We had the absolute fortune to find this lovely apartment for our Venetian stay. It was perfect in every way. We were in a quiet residential area, but an easy walk or vaporetto ride from everything. The apartment is well equipped and we felt quite at home in our comfy surroundings. It had a new bathroom, very usable kitchen, plenty of closet space and boots for acqua alta! If we return to Venice, I would stay here again.

  Location très agréable qui se situe non loin de la Piazza Roma et dans un coin assez tranquille. Appartement d'apparence neuf et joliment décoré. Il faut juste songer à remplacer les ampoules au lieu de mettre des éclairages d'appoint. Mais c'est un petit détail qui n'influence guère sur la prestation de cette location. Nous avons rencontré Lisa qui est vraiment adorable et à l'écoute. Elle nous a bien accueillis et bien présenté l'appartement, les environs et tout ce qu'il y avait à savoir sur notre séjour à Venise. Donc, n'hésitez pas à louer cet appartement. On s'y sent très bien. La seule chose à revoir serait la communication. La réservation s'est très bien passée mais les mails suivants étaient soit sans réponse soit long à venir. et une fois sur place, j'ai attendu un mail concernant l'heure de sortie qui n'est jamais venu. Mais, cela aussi est un détail ! Je reviendrai sans doute...

  We stayed in Cozy San Basilio for a week and a half. We didn't know until 2 days beforehand that we'd definitely be moving in, and didn't know until the last minute when we'd be moving out; but the owner (who lives in Venice) could not have been more helpful and accommodating, and was extremely flexible about our arrival and departure arrangements. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished in contemporary style and impeccable taste, while retaining original features such as the exposed beams; it was well equipped and I'd be quite happy to live there all the time! The location was perfect for us, being in the area we know and love best in Venice but quiet and not right on the beaten track. Highly recommended.

  Our stay at the "Cosy San Basilio" apartment was excellent. The apartment is really nice and extremely clean. The kitchen is full of useful stuff, including an icebox, a dishwasher and a washingmachine, and even the coffee is already provided for. The place is perfect for 4 people, or families with three kids, but even for us 5 adults there was enough space. The location is quiet and very well connected with Zattere and San Basilio stations (the boats will take you directly to San Marco in like 5min). And there is a big Supermarket (open 7 days) just around the corner, which proved to be very convenient too. When I come back next time, I hope this place will be available again!   Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  A very convenient location for exploring Venice - particularly for those who find navigation tricky - aim for the Zattere and you'll always get back! Very helpful local contact for a clean, well-equipped, pleasantly situated apartment, close to Campo Santa Marguerita for feeling a little more like a local than a tourist (the sports bar is a fantastic people watching venue in the early evening over an Aperol and ridiculously good value for drinks, nibbles and food - don't let the picnic-style chairs put you off) and also for practical amenities like bakeries, coffee shops, some of the best ice cream sellers - my 10 year old became an expert in a limited but useful Italian vocabulary, and to beautiful morning and evening views strolling along the Zattere quayside. Probably not for small children, but great for 8's and upwards with a 'secret' bedroom on the upstairs mezzanine accessed by a pull out stair ladder. Would happily return on another occasion.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

  Wir waren zu 4. in diesem Appartment. Die Lage ist sehr gut, ruhig und doch zentrumsnah. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr schön, allerdings lässt die Ausstattung zu wünschen übrig, z.B.war eines unserer Doppelbetten eine absolute Katastrofe, die Ausstattung mit Besteck und Geschirr war so, dass wir das Geschirr von Hand spülten. Und wirklich sauber war die Wohnung auch nicht.
