Modern, Bright 2 BR/2 BA Condo in Beautiful Downtown Vancouver

  The flat by it self it was charming little place . Very clean flat and there is everything you need to use . My issues was the area . It's not safe at all . Vancouver is very well known for bad area's and for gangs . This area is filled with homeless people . U will hear them screaming from the 17th floor . The building have so much security locks that makes u wonder why when u first arrive then when u go outside u know why. If u have a car just drive in and out do not plan on walking at all. We walked at night to the coffee shop and we were not at ease at all . We walked in the morning to the same coffee shop and there was even more homeless people . I felt like outsider inside their world . Again if u r not planning on walking at all u r okay . The view is amazing from the flat . The flat is clean . But it's way too small . It's good size for 2 or 3 people max . Do not bring lots of suit cases there is no space for it . The flat in china town but again I would not be able to enjoy the walk as we drove inside it and more homeless were everywhere . Location is very important if u r traveling and safety is even more important .

  Owner response: As stated in the other reviews, many of our guests, including those who travel with children, feel very safe both inside and outside of the building. Many also feel that they do not need a vehicle while they are here and leave it parked for the entire duration of their stay. Vancouver is a typical large city where there may be homeless people around the downtown core. Also, our unit is a typical size for a two bedroom condo in downtown Vancouver, not particularly large, but many of our guests have felt very comfortable when travelling as a group of 4.

  Awesome centrally located apartment, spent a great 6 days here with two eight year olds. Views were amazing, location was great for the Science Center and the bus 'boat' to Granville Island. Beds were very comfortable and the apartment contained everything we needed. We shall return, thank you Sophie.

  My grown son and myself were at Sophie's condo for Spring Break. He LOVED the apartment. It gave us the privacy we needed but also a cozy and comfortable place to relax. The views were amazing!! so down time was equally as enjoyable. Truly steps to Skytrain and grocery store. Brochures in the apartment made planning a breeze. I recommend Bao Bei , less than 10 min. walk from the condo in Chinatown. It's an Asian/Fusion restaurant that I'm still craving.

  The location was perfect. Sophie was the best host and made it so easy to schedule our visit and accomodate us. We traveled to Vancouver by train and there are so many things to see and do within walking distance that we were happy to be without a car. The Aqua Bus was a fun way to get back to the condo after a trek to Granville Island. Looking forward to our next time in Vancouver.

  We were a group a 4. It was a very great rental experience. Clean, free indoor parking, good internet, and very convenient location. Floor to ceiling windows, so you get a good view of the city and a lot of natural light. Two thumbs up!

  Sophie is a wonderful host! The condo is clean, secure, convenient and beautiful! What a view of the city from here. Public transit to all the Vancouver sites is right around the corner. You will love your stay here!

  Apartment was in a great location & was easy to walk from here to many locations, inlcuding downtown. Local restaurants, bars, groceries, etc all in immediate streets. The view was amazing & my wife settled down each evening/morning in the chair gazing at the sights. Stayed here with my wife & 14yo son and there was plenty of space & all very comfortable. A book was provided in the apaprtment with details on the operation of all appliances, what to do with trash, helpful hints, local guides, etc. Dealing with Sophie was easy & she was extremely prompt in all replies, no how much I e-mailed questions. We were met at the door and given a tour along with details of the local area, etc - very impressive. An under cover car space was provided & the building had excellent security. We felt safe at all times of day & night walking around here. We can highly recommend this apartment for anyone travelling to Vancouver & would certainly stay here again.

  We were amazed with this condo. It met every expectation that we had. The view was awesome. The condo was very clean and Sophie was the perfect hostess. The condo is very secure and we felt safe. The Sky Train was just a block away. It was an easy walk and a fast way to travel all over the city. Everything that we could have wanted was within a few blocks. We parked our car in the secured garage and didn't get back in it until we left. Many places to eat close by. The kitchen was stocked with utensils but we didn't cook. Coffe and tea were provided. It was a very nice stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Sophie!!!

  WOW was all I could say when I entered this beautiful condo in Vancouver! It has amazing views, great location, and extremely clean. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.
