WONDERFUL ANNIVERSARY AT BOATHOUSE
WONDERFUL ANNIVERSARY AT BOATHOUSE

My husband and I stayed at the Boathouse for our 30th wedding anniversary, it was our first time to Savannah. When we arrived at the Boathouse we were pleasantly surprised, this place is magnificient, pictures on here really cannot provide all the beauty there is here and it is so very, very, clean (I need their housekeeper). Brian and Patsi thought of everything to make our stay wonderful, such as fresh cut flowers in every room, a bottle of chilled wine, and soft music playing when we walked in just great!! Since this was our first trip to Savannah we would go sightseeing in Savannah and over to Tybee Island during the day but knew we had the fabulous Boathouse to return to in the evening, which was better than any fancy hotel or B&B. Brian and Patsi spared nothing here it is a great place to stay I could have stayed here all day and all night. It is a romantic, serene, beautiful, almost magical place, come see for yourself, you will fall in love with the Boathouse too. Enjoyed our visit to Savannah very, very, much can't wait to go again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We stayed at the Savannah Boathouse while visiting Savannah for my sons wedding. We had a wonderful time in your lovely boathouse. The decor and high end finishes were exquisite. There was not a detail left unattended! Beautiful! The added touches of hospitality such as beautiful linens, paper products, condiments, and soaps were appreciated and not always found in vacation rentals. We could not have picked a better place to stay.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in Savannah. This house was exactly what we were looking for and more! The location is very convenient to downtown Savannah and Tybee Island, a ten minute drive either way. First impression? This house has been tastefully restored and it smells brand new! From the unique Travertine floors to the marble top antique island to the beautiful lighting, the first floor was most inviting. I made pictures of every little detail to share with our children. Upstairs, the bedroom, sitting area and bathroom are also gorgeous and comfortable. From the fresh cotton quilts to the beautiful bathroom fixtures, it is obvious that someone put a lot of thought into the restoration of this house. When we arrived, the house was nice and cool and relaxing music was playing from the surround-sound stereo. A short walk led us to a large pier on the water and we met the owners, who were most gracious. The next morning, we watched the sun rise on the pier and reflect on the water. Take your camera! Overall, there is absolutely nothing I would change about our stay at this Guest House! We have recommended it to our friends and family because I know they too will love it!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

From the moment we drove down the lane to arriving at the beautiful Boathouse under the magestic moss covered oak trees, we knew we had made the right choice for the weekend. Brian was there to meet us and give us a tour of the Boathouse and answer all our questions about the beautiful home. He and Patsy did not miss a thing when they created this place. They thought of everything that would make a person fall in love with their little piece of heaven. There are not enough words to describe how one feels when they get to experience staying here. The Boathouse is beautifully decorated, spotless, cozy, romantic, seren. Brian and Patsy are the sweetest couple you could imagine and are tops when it comes to being a wonderful host and hostess. We loved our stay and are looking forward to visiting the Boathouse again, soon.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

The reviews tell it all. Judge Judy once said on her show that rental properties never look better than the photos that are provided in the advertisements or on line. She would be wrong when it comes to this property. It is impossible to take photos that show the detail that was put into the "Boathouse of Savannah". When we first arrived we walked in and immediately felt at home. Loved the decor and the cleanliness. If this meets my expectations of clean, then you know it's clean. No dust, even in the corners. We were so happy that we liked the property as much as we did because we happened to hit a rainy week and we spent more time "at home" than we normally would and it didn't matter. I can't say enough for this property and to go with that, the owners, Patsi and Brian, are exceptionally nice and friendly and fun to talk to. I trusted the previous reviews and it payed off. Don't hesitate, book your vacation here. There is plenty to see in Savannah or if you just want to relax, there are the dock and river to enjoy.Did you find this review helpful? Romance+Lavish+Luxury+ Unforgetable Getaway = BOATHOUSE!! Those are the first of many amazing words that come to mind when I think about our wonderful stay at this stunning place. You really need to experience it for yourself.Total Perfection from the moment you step inside to find beautiful display of fresh flowers, a welcoming bottle of wine, soft music playing throw out, the softest freshly scented towels and wonderful personal touches you can't find in any TOP NOTCH establishment. Not to mention how wonderful both Patsi and Brian were at making sure our stay was perfect and indeed it was that and so much more!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My brother Todd and I recently had the pleasure of staying in this quaint, incredibly clean and brilliantly renovated boathouse while visiting the ever captivating Savannah and its many surrounding attractions. We would both like to extend our deep appreciation and gratitude for having the opportunity to enjoy such a peaceful, beautiful, artfully creative and private space. Patsi and Brian Smith were incredibly warm, helpful and friendly hosts.....some of the finest hospitality that we have experienced in our many travels! We highly recommend this delightful slice of Southern charm!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My Husband and I had a wonderful time at the charming "boathouse". We have taken advantage of the VRBO website on many different occasions to locate places around the country to stay for the whole family or just the two of us. I have to say we both agreed this place is at the top of the list. Every detail was well thought out for total comfort and enjoyment. This place exudes charm and character. The furnishings offer the historic elements of Savannah and the beautiful coastal marshes. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day of sightseeing or boating. The upgraded linens and fresh flowers made you feel as if you were truly invited guests and while Patsi and Brian were not far off if you needed anything they were quick to respect your privacy. We also appreciated the location which was an easy trip into downtown Savannah, literally around the corner tucked away was local shopping and grocery or gourmet take out and 10-15 minutes to Tybee Island beaches, restaurants and some great Kayaking. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer. We both give this place a "10". Robbie and Donna, GainesvilleDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

This was my 4th visit to Savannah, and I have stayed at other hotels or rentals during these visits. So let me tell you, if you are considering renting the boathouse, DO NOT HESITATE! This place will exceed your expectations! Amenities galore, better than the finest hotels! Not only is boathouse beautifully appointed, but it is located in the most serene setting. It's almost like being on your own private island! Patsi greeted us with a warm welcome shortly after we arrived. She could not have been more hospitable. The location is perfect as well. Only a 10 minute drive to River Street and downtown, 15 or 20 minutes to Tybee Island. What a wonderfully tranquil place to return to after a hectic day of site seeing in Savannah. Coffee on the deck in the morning, wine on the deck in the evening watching the sunset. It doesn't get any better than this! My only regret is that our stay was not long enough. We'll know better next time. Anthony and Janet AlvisDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
