My wife and I brought our daughter (born last October) to St. John for our first family vacation. I can't imagine a better house for us. The bedrooms are air conditioned so we didn't have to worry about the little one getting too hot at night. The pool is huge and was great to have because the beaches were choppy with the recent hurricane (Sandy). Our daughter loved splashing in it - in the tube we brought. The porch ... wow, what a view! I didn't even mind getting out of bed early in the morning for bottle duty with a view like that, especially when drinking a coffee easily made in the Keurig. There were beach towels / coolers / chairs. There was even tupperware for taking snacks to the beach. I think the hosts thought of it all. There were also two baby gates there when we arrived - great for the little one! I hope to come back to Almost Heaven someday and I'd recommend it to anyone. I've stayed in a few villa's in St John, and they've all been great, but the view over coral bay and attention to the amenities sets this one apart. If I come back to St. John, I'll be staying here.

Rested, Relaxed and Recharged
We knew this was going to be a fantastic getaway from the moment we were greeted at the ferry by a representative from the Bordeaux Mountain home. Our escort to the property was friendly and provided us with all the information we needed to enjoy all the offerings of the home as well as the island of St John. The attention to detail in this newly built home made us feel comfortable no matter which room we sat in. The amenities were modern and the stonework was stunning. The sensation of the Caribbean breeze coupled with the vista of Coral Bay was nothing short of spectacular! Accessibility to beaches and restaurants allowed this location to be a wonderful spot to start and finish our day of excursions. Rest and relaxation is what we needed and exactly what we got from this Bordeaux Mountain home. Looking forward to future stays in this island paradise.

Our vacation to St. John was spectacular. The Clancy's Villa is stunning. The photographs do not do it justice! The masonry stonework and fantastic local artwork are fantastic. The screened veranda allowed our family to dine outside and enjoy the amazing views of Coral Bay and Tortola, have our coffee in the morning and drinks at night. All of our needs were made available including laundry facilities, beach chairs, coolers, pool floats, a Keurig machine, even a shower stool for our elderly mother. The kitchen and grill areas were great and allowed us to cook our meals and dine in the comfort of the Villa. We took advantage of and enjoyed being poolside everyday with the spectacular pool and hot tub. There are two outside showers so we could rinse off after spending the day at the stunning island beaches. We thank the Clancy's for sharing their home with us and cannot wait to go back again!

We enjoyed a beautiful return to St. John. The Villa is stunning and filled with special little details like the beautiful local art and stone masonry. The photos do not do it justice. Little things like storage containers and lids, laundry and dish washing soap, as well as trash bags really made us feel at home and showed the Owner's desire to take care of their guests every need. There was even a Keurig! We enjoyed the huge pool immensely and the hot tub was enjoyed many times each day. A special thank you to the Owner's for sharing the incredible villa.
