ASK ABOUT OUR $25.00 DISCOUNT. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. The BEND URBAN CABIN' is centrally located on the West Side of Bend. We are 18 Miles to Mt. Bachelor. There are over 25 Golf Courses within 25 miles of our home.
Our home is 1550. sq ft with three bedrooms plus a media room.
*MASTER BEDROOM upstairs, double bed with bathroom and shower.
*SECOND BEDROOM is downstairs with queen bed. Also has small office with internet/cable and printer.
*THE BUNK-ROOM is our 3rd bedroom. A Double and single made from Knotty Pine. Kids love it. There is an additional loft for single bed.
*MEDIA ROOM is 12x20 and has leather couch, TV, DVD, Stereo and additional table for cards. In addition there is a whole bookcase full of games from 2-75 years old. We also have lots of toys for the young ones.
*KITCHEN is compact and convenient. We call it our 2 step kitchen. Equipped with new gas stove, oven and microwave. Our cooking utensils are all stainless steel. We have every imaginable kitchen gadget that you may need. Popcorn Maker, Blender, Electric Skillet, Electric Beater, Crock Pot, Rice Cooker, Wok to name a few. There are probably others that we have not found. Lots of dishes, bowls, cups wine glasses, margarita glasses and utensils. We both like to cook so we have accumulated lots of kitchen stuff. Bonus spice cabinet with over 25 spices.
*OUTSIDE has 2 decks, one picnic table, one 4 foot round table, charcoal BBQ and Jacuzzi hot tub. The outside setting is very private and lots of wild creatures visit us every day. We call them THE LOCALS.
This home is ideal for 2 couples or a family with up to six people.
*FIRST TIME IN BEND?. We have all the brochures for local attractions and have compiled a restaurant guide of our favorite restaurants over the last 30 years. There are 15 Brewpubs in Bend 6 located within 1 mile of our home. In addition when you book your Vacation/Holiday with us, let us know your recreational interests and we can assist you in finding the right place to go. With our 33 years visiting and living in Bend we can get you to the right spot fast.
We are centrally located on the West Side. 25 minutes to Mt. Bachelor, 2 minutes to Old Town Bend, 3 minutes to The Old Mill District, 5 good restaurants within 5 blocks, and 6 Micro Breweries within walking distance. Safeway, Rays Market, Newport Market Liquor Store are all located within 2 mi radius.

We had gone to Bend to attend a wedding and the home was a perfect location from the Seventh Mountain Resort. It was a 10 minute drive and close to downtown. The house is a little older but the hot tub was definitely the best part of the entire trip (no offense to the wedding). After being in heels for hours, and dancing around, the hot tub was a great way to start and end the day. Luckily, Dennis had filled the home to feel like a true home away from home. It lacked a few things such as conditioner for my hair and a hair dryer, but it had tape for last minute fixes on our outfits or extra towels for the hot tub and multiple showers since it was super hot. There were mutiple TVs and more than enough room. Very private to surroundings.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+.
Owner response: We are centrally located. About 10 minutes or less from most restaurants and local activities. We also have about 25 golf courses within 1/2 hr drive from our home. We do have one hair drier, it is located in the upper bedroom vanity, bottom drawer.

We loved this Urban cabin! We're skiers so we wanted access to Mt. Bachelor and the nightlife of "Old Bend"..Hot Tub, flat screen TVs, great kitchen, laundry, and a nice "cabin" vibe. We would rent again....!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.
Owner response: You have chosen the reasons that we chose to build the Bend Urban Cabin. Close proximity to Mt Bachelor, Old town Bend, Old Mill District. Sunriver which is popular is 18 miles to Bend and in winter weather, driving can be hazardous on Hwy 97. We have had many comments on the privacy of the back yard and Hot Tub. Our first stay at the Bend Urban Cabin was a great one and we will definitely be back! My husband and I and our 7 month old baby found plenty of room to spread out, and we could surely go back with friends or family in the future as the 3 bedroom/ 2 bath house felt spacious. Everything was nicely maintained we found all that we needed in the kitchen for cooking & entertaining. The hot tub was a major highlight - large & clean, and in a nice private backyard (especially appreciated since lows were 10-12 degrees while we were there)! Central location was another bonus; just a quick drive to downtown and my husband spent a half day skiing at Bachelor, which was only 25 min. away. The owner was great to work with and quick to respond to our queries. We appreciated his willingness to work with us on a 2-night stay during a holiday weekend. We would definitely recommend this rental to friends and already looking forward to our next visit!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

Year Purchased: 1988
About the owner: We built the home in 1988 and it has been a vacation home since then. We upgraded in 2003. We currently live in Southwest Washington.and this is our permanent second home and we spend about 10 days a month here. There have been 23 years of vacations and family experiences in the home. We now want to share our home and all the benefits of having a vacation/holiday in Bend with others.
Why the Owner Chose Bend:
We started skiing in in Bend in 1979 and always thought it would be a nice place for a second home. We watched it boom in the 80s and purchased the lot in 1982. We are an outdoor family, ski, hunt, fish and camp. There is no other place on the West Coast that has year around recreation. There is something for everyone all the time.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Since we finished the house, wildlife is abundant all the time. Deer almost daily, squirrels, rabbits, quail, dove, geese and ducks and geese flying by on a regular basis. It is like being in the woods, but in the City Limits. That is why we have always called our BEND URBAN CABIN.
